Two weeks ago, we held our annual company-wide Christmas luncheon. We were able to utilize our showroom space again this year with 30 tables spread throughout the area.
As we plan to double in size next year, this may be the last time we can all fit in this space!
For food, we had Essenhaus cater. They offer the best comfort foods: ham, beef, homemade noodles, mashed potatoes, rolls, and more.
Doug Rassi (our Co-founder, President, and CEO) spoke to us about the new building and what’s to come in 2016.
In between announcements and food, we played our quirky “scientist” videos (which you can watch on our YouTube Channel).
New this year was our trivia contest. Each table worked together to answer questions about specific POLYWOOD facts as well as a couple of fun Christmas-themed facts. At the end of the luncheon, the table with the highest number of correct answers won a prize.
POLYWOOD Trivia for 2015
How many miles of POLYWOOD lumber were extruded this year?
How many football fields of cardboard were purchased this year?
How many pieces of POLYWOOD furniture were built this year?
In the movie Christmas Vacation, how many total light bulbs did Clark Griswold end up using to decorate his house?
If you were to stack all the cushions produced this year, how many Statues of Liberty tall would the pile be?
All in all, everyone had a great time (even
Chris Santa stopped by to hand out candy canes!).
