What is Nautical Furniture Style?

Nautical furniture style takes inspiration from marinas, boats, and other seaside surroundings. Dining chairs, rockers, and chaises from our Nautical Collection feature cutout handles reminiscent of antique captain’s chairs, while the Adirondacks have subtle seashell-shaped backrests. We designed the dining and accent tables with planked tops and edges that bow out slightly for a stylized effect.

Why Invest in POLYWOOD Furniture?
What is the best outdoor furniture for the sea?
If your outdoor living space is near the ocean, choose patio furniture that withstands salty air, humidity, windy weather, and other coastal conditions. Durable plastic lumber, like high-density polyethylene (HDPE), is a great choice.

What is coastal style furniture?
Coastal style furniture is defined by airy silhouettes and lighter materials for a relaxed, resort-worthy look. It’s similar to nautical in that it’s popular for outdoor spaces by the sea. But nautical style furniture typically leans more traditional and pairs well with preppy stripes or ship-inspired decor.
