So far so good!

"Bought 2 Adirondack chairs last spring, and they were left outside all winter (total 30” snow last winter, with no melting), and they look great. So we bought two more!"

Karen M. (5/5)

Great as usual

"Easy to assemble and same quality as the rest of my polywood products"

Derrick W. (5/5)

I love the Classic Folding

"I love the Classic Folding Adirondack Chair so much, I ordered two! Phenomenal, top quality product! Pollywood’s price and service can’t be beat! Keep up the great work!"

Paul K. (5/5)

Beautiful, always wanted them! Now we do!

"Beautiful, always wanted them! Now we do!"

Marjorie W. (5/5)

Well made, but needed a little TLC

"These are very well made chairs. I absolutely love it and was impressed by how comfortable they are when I first sat down. Saying that, one chair did have the armrest pre-assembled incorrectly. That's not usually a problem, however, it seems like the 'texture' of the plastic of the chairs may be added after the pieces are attached because I had to carve out three screws with an exacto knife to even get them out. After that little kerfuffle, the two chairs were a breeze to put together."

Megan S. (4/5)

We bought a folding Adirondack

"We bought a folding Adirondack chair exactly like this one a few years ago and felt the quality of craftsmanship was different this time around. I had to return a part due to the screw holes not being properly aligned. However, the replacement part came quickly, which was nice! Note: the cushion is not from polywood"

Jill D. (4/5)

Nice chair but hardware issues

"The chair itself is nice. However, the hardware that was sent was incorrect. Three trips to the hardware store attempting to get screws that worked, dealing with stripped screws, multiple calls to customer service. Although eventually I was sent the correct screws, was a frustrating experience - don't think I'll order from them again."

Cindy W. (3/5)

I refused the delivery because

"I refused the delivery because of severely damaged boxes. The shipment was received by polywood on 6/13. I still haven’t received my refund. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach polywood by phone, and they don’t return emails, so how exactly would one make a warranty claim? Just a horrible experience altogether and I will let Discover handle my refund now."

Britney H. (1/5)

Little quality issue

"One of the folding Adirondack chairs had issues as far as like we had to use our own screws and re-drill things because things were stripped so we weren’t really happy about that. What would you do if you didn’t have the right tools? But overall, I would say the quality is very good"

Catherine F. (4/5)

love the chairs

"We purchased six of these chairs and a table and love the quality and appearance of them! Great addition to our deck/ patio!"

I have a navy classic folding chair that I received as a gift last spring. I opened the box back then and just now am getting around to assembling the chair. It appears that I have lost the hardware and also the rectangular piece that goes across the front of the chair. Would it be possible to order those 2 parts?

Do you have this chair (or similar) that ricks and folds
Hello Kay, I apologize, we do not have any folding chairs that also rock. Thanks for asking, Mindy
Do you have any chairs that will sit low enough in a swimming pool to actually be in the water? Your current chairs that folds are too tall.
Hi Andy, Thank you for your question. Our Chaise Lounge chairs are 12 inches high and perfect for using on a pool sun shelf. We don't have any folding chairs that are designed with that low of a seat height. Thanks, Lana
I am looking to purchase 3 Adirondack chairs but I'm not sure if I should purchase the folding ones or the standard ones. Do you have any suggestions to which ones to get ?Thank you
Hi Dedra, Great question! Both the Classic Adirondack chairs and Folding Classic Adirondack chairs are comfortable and stylish and come with our 20-year warranty. The Folding Adirondack chairs require minimal assembly and fold for transportation and storage, which some people find to be a benefit over the Classic Adirondack chairs. However, both types of chairs can be kept outdoors all year long. Happy shopping! Thanks, Lana
Do you have free shipping?
Hi Marcia, POLYWOOD offers free shipping for orders placed by direct consumers on our website to anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. Thanks for asking! Lana
What is the exact metal of the "marine grade" hardware?
Hi G.S. Great question! POLYWOOD furniture hardware—including screws, nuts, bolts, and other fasteners—is marine-grade 18-8 stainless steel with an AlloChrome 3200+™ finish and cosmetic coating. Marine-grade stainless steel outperforms standard stainless steel in durability, resisting rust and corrosive elements often found outdoors. Thanks! Lana
I want the gray seat with black arms and legs. Can you make them?
Hello Deb, Thanks for your interest in POLYWOOD. I apologize, we do not do custom orders, or offer multi-toned furniture. Thanks, Mindy

Are the colors actually as bight as they appear in the pictures?
Hello Lynn, Yes, our Vibrant colors are quite bright! There are a couple ways you can see them in person if you'd like. You can use the showroom locator at the top right of the website to see if there are any showrooms in your area where you can see the colors. You can also purchase samples of the colors you'd like to see. I have included a link to the samples, but you can also just search for samples on the website. https://www.polywood.com/styles/samples.html Thanks, Mindy
How to clean the chairs?
Hi Frank, thanks for asking! Genuine POLYWOOD lumber cleans easily with soap and water, can be disinfected with a homemade bleach mixture and requires no painting, staining, or waterproofing. 1. Mix mild dish soap and warm water in a bucket. 2. Use a clean cloth to wipe the soapy mixture onto the surfaces of your furniture, cleaning off any dirt. 3. For extra cleaning power or to sanitize, mix 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water. 4. Apply bleach mixture to furniture with a clean cloth and allow it to sit on the lumber for a few minutes (this will not affect the color). 5. Loosen any dirt and debris that may catch in the surface grooves of the lumber by scrubbing the bleach mixture with a soft-bristle brush. 6. Rinse thoroughly. If you are getting your furniture out of storage or haven't cleaned in a year, you can use a pressure washer too, which is always fun! 1. First, use a high-pressure power washer (not to exceed 1,500 psi) for an initial deep clean. This will really help get into the texture of the lumber 2. Then, follow the steps at the left for any persistent spots, rinsing thoroughly when complete. Thanks, Mindy

We just bought these and can't figure out how to fold them. How do they fold?
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us about the Classic Folding Adirondack chair. You will need to remove the pins on either side of the seat assembly to allow the chair to fold. You may need to stand in front of the chair and pull the back assembly forward to allow the pins to be removed easier. Assembly instructions can be found via the link below - https://www.polywood.com/assembly/AD5030 All the best, Kaitlyn
Do these chairs have an adjustable back?
Hi there, Thanks so much for reaching out! The back does not adjust on the Classic Folding Adirondack Chair. It only has two positions, fully open which is when you would be sitting and then folded closed if you wanted to store it. All the best, Candace
When will you have a folding rocker?! Make my dreams come true!
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! We don't have anything in the works for a folding rocking chair right now, but I'll definitely let the design team know that there's an interest for that. In the meantime, I would recommend signing up for our email newsletter; this way you’re guaranteed to be the first to know about any new products that are being launched! You can register at the bottom of our main page. All you do is enter your email address and click submit! All the best, Candace
Hi. I am a grown woman, lol but just under 5 feet tall. Will I get lost in this chair or will it be comfortable for me? Also, the chair backs do not adjust. Correct?
I am 5’2” and the chair is perfect for me. My husband is 5’10” and it is also very comfortable for him.
I just put this together, and had to pound in the pins. They do not twist out at all. How do I remove them to fold the chair?
Hi Karen, Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm sorry the pins aren't wanting to cooperate! You can use pliers to pull the pins out without causing any damage. Usually they become easier to insert and remove with repeated use. Please let us know if you're still having difficulty with them and we'll see what else we can do to help. All the best, Candace
Do you have any footing covers to protect the fiberglass on my boat deck, and prevent slipping?
Hello Craig, That's a good question. We do not provide foot covers for our furniture. You can do a quick search and find a variety of furniture foot covers that could probably provide you with what you need. Thanks for reaching out and the best of luck. Peggy
I want to use these chairs on the fiberglass deck of my boat. Do you make any rubber-like foot covers to prevent slippage and scratching of the fiberglass?
That is a great question, Craig. We do not have rubber foot covers for our furniture, but you can do a quick search online and find something that would be able to protect your deck and boat from getting scratched. Thank you for reaching out. Peggy
