Do you have longer chains for porches with ceilings higher than 9 feet?

What is the maximum weight each swing can take

Hello Aruna, All POLYWOOD furniture is tested using ATSM standards. The Country Living 60" Swing is tested to hold up to 250 pounds per seat. The swing is meant to hold 3 people, so the total weight, if it is spread across the seating areas, is 750 pounds. Thanks, Mindy

I have a stand alone swing frame, 65" wide with 1/4 in holes for chains measuring 61.75 apart, it stands approx 61 in from holes to ground. 2 questions, will the Cottage 60" work and what is the actual weight allowed. I see it as being a 3 person swing and the only info I see is there is a 250 lb weight limit per seat... So, would this swing support 750 total pounds? I just put together the Presidential rocker and love the craftsmanship, look and comfort.

Does the 60" swing come with hardware to install i.e. hooks for the swings "included chain kit" to attached too? If not, what is recommended for 2" x 6" ceiling joists?

Depending on how you are installing the swing, you will want to visit your local hardware store for the hanging connection and be sure that it's rated to hold both the swing and the people on it. Use these tips to ensure a safe and unobstructed swing setup. - POLYWOOD porch swings can be attached to ceilings or structures up to 9 feet tall. - Your swing should be affixed to a load-bearing beam or ceiling joist—one that’s sturdy enough to hold the swing’s weight and anyone who uses it. - Joists need adequate support on both ends and should be on the thicker side—2x6 or 2×8. - Porch swings should hang about 17–19 inches above the floor. - The distance between mounting hardware should measure 4–6 inches wider than the swing length—from armrest to armrest. - Your swing needs 3–4 feet of distance to both the front and back and 12–14 inches of clearance on either side. Could you please clarify the seat depth? If it’s 16.63 inches, how could the 17.5 cushion fit?

Hello Kathy, The seat cushions suggestion is the one that we have that fits best. We do not have a cushion for this swing that fits exactly. We suggest the 17'5" as then it can fold over in the front and cushion under your knee as well. Plus, having one a little too big is better than too small, at least in our opinion. Can this be hung with a rope instead of chain?

After a few months, our mahogany swing has white stains that don’t come off with soap. Do you have some paint we can get to cover the stains?
