Hello! I am having custom covers made for the Parsons table. I need to know how many additional inches of clearance I need to allow for the Edge Dining Arm Chair to extend out if pushed all the way as far as it goes under the table. I want a tailored fit so I don't want to guess or make the cover bigger than necessary. Visually it looks to be about 3 or 4 inches. Please tell me exactly? I am using the 48" bench on the long sides and that will fit under the table. So the extra I need to add is just at the ends. Did I explain that OK?

Will this material (in color black) get hot to touch in the summer sun?

Hi Zach, We've designed POLYWOOD furniture to remain outdoors in all climates, but on hot days in direct sunlight, darker lumber colors readily absorb heat. On hot sunny days, we recommend testing furniture temperature with the back of your hand to make sure it's safe to sit on. In a reply to my review you state that PW is a made to order company and nothing is in stock. Why did I receive numerous email ads from mid to late June that said “order now for July 4th”? Did you delay filling orders received prior to make the items advertised since PW makes everything to order?

Hello Yvette, That is correct, we do not have a warehouse and all items are made after they are ordered. We have some very popular items and colors and those are run more often than others. Due to this, we are sometimes able to get certain items out in a few days time, versus weeks for others. The emails in mid-June were stating that we do have some items with a 1-3 or 3-5 day lead time, and those items would potentially get to you by the 4th of July. We do not delay orders, but in fact do all we can to get them out to our customers as quickly as possible. Estimated lead times will always be given, for each piece of furniture, once you make your color selection. These lead times can change with the seasons, as we get a different amount of orders. This means when we have many orders it will take us longer to get items made, and when we have less orders, it will take us less time to get pieces made. Thanks, Mindy

Can you do all edge arm chairs around a rectangle table? Will it fit, for seating for 8 on your largest table?

Hello Evan, Great question! On our Nautical 44" x 96" Dining Table you can do 8 edge chairs and it would leave a little over 6" between each chair arm and to the end of the table. You would be able to comfortably sit 8 around this table with the Edge Arm chairs. Thanks, Heather

Are these chairs stackable?

The good new is that our all-weather material is built to withstand all four seasons and a range of climates including hot sun, snowy winters, salt spray, and heavy winds, so you won't need to store them during the off season. I really love the modern style of the edge collection but I think I need to stick with a 72 inch table. Would the edge chairs look good with a lakeside or farmhouse table?

Can you see the screws/screw holes on these chairs?
