Shipping was fast. I needed

"Shipping was fast. I needed a replacement screw as one stripped out, replacement was fast and easy. The only thing that concerns me is there is some play in the arms. Hopefully that won't amount to anything."

Q&A

What color is in the picture of the chair on the deck (4th picture)?
Hello Denise, Great question! The lumber color of the Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair in the fourth picture is Vintage Sahara. I hope this information helps! Thank you, Emma
What cushions fit these rockers
Hello Christina, Great question! For added comfort with your Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair, we recommend the Seat Cushion – 17.5"D x 20"W x 2.5"H (SKU: XPWS0149). You can find it here: https://www.polywood.com/products/seat-cushion-17-5-d-x-20-w-x-2-5-h-xpws0149 Happy shopping! Emma
It shows the width of the front of the chair to be 20.5" wide. What is the width of the chair between the arms at the back of the chair. I have presidential rocker and the dimensions on it show 20" wide in the front but it narrows to 18" at the back of the chair and is very uncomfortable to sit in. Does this chair narrow up in the back as well or is it 20.5" in the back of the chair as well.
Hi Chad, The seat width for this chair is 20.5" at the front of the seat and the back of the seat. The curve of the arms is on the outside of the arms and doesn't encroach into the seating space. Thanks for asking! Lana
Is this good for a 6’5” man with long legs?
Hi Kathryn, Thank you for reaching out with your question! Yes, the Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair is a good option for a taller person. Here are the overall dimensions for the Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair: 29.25" x 37.87" x 33.2" (WxHxD). We would also recommend the Modern Adirondack Rocker with the dimensions of: 29.75" x 38" x 33.25" (WxHxD). You can check it out here on our website at: https://www.polywood.com/modern-adirondack-rocker-mnr10.html. I hope this information is helpful. Thank you, Michelle
Do you make a rocking chair that folds up for someone that is 6'3" tall out of plastic adirondak folding rocking chair.
Hello William, Thank you for your interest in our POLYWOOD Rocking chairs. I do apologize, but we do not have a rocker that folds up. I will certainly pass this along as feedback for a potential future product. Thanks -Jason
Do you have color swatches of sand? I love it but am fearful it may clash with my house color.
Hello Diane, That is a great question! You can purchase samples of our lumber and our fabric. You can search samples on the website, or click the link below. https://www.polywood.com/styles/samples.html Thanks, Mindy
Does the white furniture discolor over time? Do your products ever go on sale?
Hello Diane, Like anything that is white, our furniture will require cleaning in order to keep it crisp and bright. The color runs all the way through the recycled HDPE POLYWOOD lumber, so as long as you keep it clean, it will be very white. Please sign up for the newsletter, as this will be the best place to be notified of any potential sales or promotions. Thanks, Mindy
I want a green Adirondack nautical rocker. I will order it now if you can assure me it is the same green my other three chairs are
Hi Alan, Thank you for your interest in the POLYWOOD Adirondack Rocking Chairs! I see that Customer Service has informed you of the shade of Green you have previously have ordered with us. Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions. We look forward to your next order. Warm regards, Michelle
Do you recommend your rockers any maintenance for your deck? I am wondering if that is going to scratch or ruin the deck.
Hi Mary, Thank you for reaching out with your question! If you are looking for protection underneath the furniture, we recommend furniture sliders or furniture foot pads to protect the bottom of the chairs, as well as your deck. POLYWOOD furniture is very durable but dragging the chairs on overtime could potentially scuff them. I hope this information was helpful! Thank you, Michelle
Does the nautical ottomans work well with the rocker if you don’t feel like rocking but want feet up? If so, can you purchase the nautical ottoman separately?
Hello Scott, Thank you for your interest in our Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair. The ottoman for our regular Nautical Adirondack chair has a height of about 15.8 inches and the seat on the Nautical Rocker has a seat heigh of 15 inches. So this might not be a comfortable fit as the rockers are not designed to be used with an ottoman. Thanks -Jason
Hi bHow many pieces make up the rocking chair? Trying to determine the complexity of assembly. Thanks
Hello, Andrew. This Adirondack rocking chair has about 8 pieces total needed to assemble the furniture, not including hardware pieces. You can review these assembly instructions on the product page at any time if you need to see further assembly details! Best wishes, Jay C.
Hello, i'd like to purchase 2 nautical adirondack rocking chairs, can i get them in slate grey and in the vintage finish? Thank you!
Hello Marie, Thanks for asking! The Vintage Finish is only available in three color choices: Vintage Coffee, Vintage White and Vintage Sahara. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. Mindy
What is the weight limit on this chair?
Hello Brenda, All POLYWOOD furniture is tested using ATSM standards. The Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair is tested to hold up to 300 pounds. Thanks for asking, Mindy
Is it possible to have the Adirondack rocker made in 2 colors? Framework in darker color and seat & back in a lighter color?
Hello Cathy, I am sorry we do not make rockers in 2 tone nor do we do special orders. We are always looking for ways to improve our products and selections and I will pass your interest on to our design team. Thank you for reaching out, Heather
What is the total height of the back, from the seat up to the top of the back, please?
Hello Heather, We appreciate you interest in our Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair. The back from seat to top of this rocker measures just over 29" Thanks, Heather
What is the weight capacity on these chairs? I have only seen it on the swings.
Hello Walnut, All POLYWOOD furniture is tested using ATSM standards. The Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair is tested to hold up to 300 pounds. Thanks for asking, Mindy
I have had major back and neck surgery and my nerves in my legs are shot. I’ve been looking for a few years for a supportive chair (not hard to get in and out of) and one that does not cut me off at the thighs. Can someone suggest weather the straight back or the curve back chairs would be a better fit? I must have support but don’t want to feel I am sitting so forward that I can’t relax. I also need the arms high enough to support my arms or my neck goes numb….
Hi Kelley, I'm very sorry to hear about your health issues. This is a great question! The straight back of the Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair should help support your back and help you sit straight up. The curveback will also help, but is more comfortable for some, depending on your personal preference. You can check to see if there are showrooms in your area that may have these POLYWOOD products to sit in, by using our Showroom Locator at the top right of the website. The dimensions for any piece of furniture can be found below the color options, under Product Details. For the Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chair, the arm height is 23.75" and the seat height at the front is 15". I hope this helps you decide which rocker to add to your POLYWOOD collection. The best of luck to you! Thanks again, Mindy
How wide are the arms?
Hi there Richard! What a great question! The arm of this rocking chair is 11.5" wide. All the best, Kaitlyn
Do theses rockers need to be assembled?
Hello Vicki, Thank you for reaching out to us. Assembly is required for these rocking chairs. We do sell a few pre assembled products, but none of the rockers will ever be pre assembled for use unfortunately. Kind regards, Sam
Are these stackable?
Hi There! Great question! The Nautical Adirondack Rocking Chairs are not stackable. Thank you for taking the time to ask! Lindsey
