4 foot picnic table

"The assembly was very easy for me. That’s because my son-in-law and his friend put everything together . They did say that it was easy to put together. The quality is perfect. The delivery was flawless. Delivered in perfect condition. The truck driver was very friendly yet professional. I like how heavy the table is. Besides my weighted umbrella holder, the table will help support the umbrella even in a wind."

Parts missing and pre-assembly not done correctly.

"We'd rec'd our table within the stated time, however, little good it did because it came without hardware. Alert - note that on there homepage, there is an link leading to instructions for what to do if hardware is missing as apparently this is not an uncommon issue. Suggestion - instead of adding link to website, take care of issue and make sure items don't leave plant without the hardware. We'd followed the instructions to submit the request electronically and never rec'd a response until 9 days later. In the meantime, I'd phoned twice. The first time a pleasant customer service rep apologized and said that the parts would ship next day are and would go out the following day at the latest. We discussed that I'd have my parts in 2 days at most. Then, after three days, I'd phoned again. Spoke with a customer service rep who'd shared that it was the fault of UPS, actually sharing that the item was "lost" and their was nothing they could do. He would not reship the parts, stating I should wait until Monday (3 days later) to see if parts arrived, and proceeded to tell me to call them back if they did not. I'd asked that they call me instead (lengthy waits on their phone lines), and he'd suggested I use the on-line portal to tell them whether parts arrived or not. Then, parts still not their Monday, nor Tuesday, nor Wednesday, and finally arrived on Thursday. Terrible customer service. Also, the table top what assembled incorrectly (a brace on underside needed to be reversed). Rather that go through another horrendous experience in arranging to send back, we disassembled the part ourselves, reversed its direction, all in order to attach the legs. Overall poor experience as I feel too little done by customer service."

It's low?!

"Love the table (and benches)! The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is that the table (and benches) are anywhere from 1 1/2 - 2" lower than any other table & chairs and it's noticeable- I wouldn't have measured if we hadn't sensed the difference. The delivery went off well though and the assembly was good as well, does need some torqueing. Pretty expensive so disappointed that it's low and would assume uncomfortable for any length of time. But really love the looks of it and I'm sure it will last a lifetime."

Can I get without the hole or a plug?

so disappointed that learn that "hole cover not included" actually means HOLE COVER NOT AN OPTION. purchased two of these tables for use on a covered porch. called to order polywood plugs and was told they would not fit. popped out the plug from another polywood table and fact it would not fit. why wouldn't all these, very expensive, tables come with or the option of a matching plug and why would the umbrella holes differ in size?

Commercial umbrellas often have a larger diameter pole, and our picnic tables are designed to accommodate the large umbrella poles. We do our best to provide photos showing the umbrella hole in our picnic tables and mention that a hole cover is not included in our product descriptions. What’s the clearance from the ground to the bottom of the tabletop?

Would this table work with 8 of the grant park armless chairs? We have a smaller space but looking for seating for up to 8. Wondering with the legs on the table if the chairs could shove under the sides of the table when not in use. Thank you.
Hello Jenny, The Grant Park Dining Side Chairs are 18.17 inches wide. This table would easily fit 2 (two) on each side, with a little room for your guests in between! The chairs would not be able to be pushed in all the way, due to the legs and the braces. Thanks for asking. Mindy
Could this be paired with the Chippendale Chairs and the Chippendale 48 inch bench? If so, how many chairs can fit on each side of this table?
Hello Cori, Thank you for reaching out to us about our Park 48" Square Table. If you are using the Chippendale Side chairs you could fit 2 around each side, but it would leave a little arm room. We would recommend just doing one chair on each side for the best room. Thanks -Jason
In the pictures, it shows the hole for the umbrella. Does this table come with a plug that can be used or can one be purchased separately for this table? We would be setting this table on a covered porch which means that we do not need an umbrella. Looking at this table and the 44" Nautical that I think I have seen pictures that the hole can be plugged. Just liked the 48" size a bit better.
