Does black polywood absorb heat to the point of being too hot to sit on in the summer heat?

Hi Sharmon, Thank you for your question! We've designed POLYWOOD furniture to remain outdoors in all climates, but on hot days in direct sunlight, darker lumber colors readily absorb heat. On hot sunny days, we recommend testing furniture temperature with the back of your hand to make sure it's safe to sit on. Hi, I am considering buying this bench. Have the issues with misaligned home/ difficulty with assembly been resolved? Also, for the weight capacity, does 400 pounds per seat mean 400 pounds total for the bench. What does “each seat” refer to?

Issues with misaligned holes and assembly, it is not something we commonly see with our products. Our products though are manufactured by human hands so sometimes defects do occur. With our weight limit per seat, this bench is considered a 4 seater so each section someone could sit on is tested to hold up to 400 pounds. Thanks -Jason
