White glove serivce

"Paid $450. 00 for white glove service and was informed upon delivery that service didn't include setting up the controls for the fire pit. When I called to register a complaint I was read the fine print about that not being included. Cost me another $160 to find someone to do that for us. In addtion, the instruction plate was screwed on upside down. Would yiou buy from you again? Ridiculous!"

Beautiful Product, Frustrating Fire Pit Issue

"Unfortunately, we’ve had issues with this fire pit from day one — it simply won’t stay lit no matter what we try. We’ve reached out to customer service and are still waiting to hear back. Based on other reviews, it seems we’re not alone in experiencing this problem. There’s no question the product itself is beautifully made, but a fire pit that won’t stay lit defeats the whole purpose. Hopefully this can get resolved — we’ve invested a lot of money in POLYWOOD and want to continue to be happy customers."

Solid Firepit

"The Firepit is solidly built. It is however tricky to start. If we can get it to start better it will be a solid purchas"

Wonderful table!

"I love this table it is just perfect. My other table rusted because of the metal. This one will last for many years it’s my 14th piece in my lanai! Cleans up easily"

Denise Y. (5/5)

Sturdy fire pit

"I have a deck full of Polywood furniture - seating and dinner table but needed something to pull us outside in cooler weather. So I got their fire pit and it is beautiful, was easy to assemble and hook up. I recommend watching a YouTube video on the set up rather than the written instructions"

Linda C. (5/5)

Very pleased

"Excellent product, easy to install"

Great design, needs one small detail

"Almost 5 stars! Loved the way it was packaged, loved the way it assembled, and I love the way it looks. My only criticism is that the cover has no support over the middle and thus, a puddle will form from rain or snow. I am going to make a support for the middle (probably something simple from PVC) so that the cover sheds moisture."

I’ve been saving for this

"I’ve been saving for this fire pit. Finally ordered it. Took roughly 3 weeks to be delivered. Open it up and the base and top hole’s do not match up. Filed a clam and no one emailed back. I had to call and they had no answer why no one contacted me. I have the confirmation that I sent it. Now I’m messaging back and forth with Polywood asking for more photos and measurements. Days go by waiting for what the next step is. It’s been almost two weeks since I received it and still no resolution. As of today I asked to return it and just get a refund . I feel if you spend 1,799 on a fire pit that could cost 400. 00 at Lowe’s should have the holes drilled properly and checked before shipping it across the country. I am very disappointed in the customer service regarding this issue. I’m bummed because I have numerous Polywood furniture pieces but not giving them my money anymore."

Q&A

Diameter of glass shield
Hello Gary, Great question! The diameter of the glass shield is approximately 24.8". Thanks for asking! Best, Emma
Is a special mat required in order to use the fire pit on an open Trex deck?
Hey, Tricia! Thank you for your question. For an open deck, it’s recommended to use a heat-resistant mat or barrier under the fire pit. While gas fire tables like the Square 42" Fire Pit Table produce less heat downward than wood-burning pits, they can still warm the surface over time. Hope this helps! Best, Miriam
Can the glass barrier be removed?
Hi Bill! Thank you for your question. We do not recommend removing the glass barrier, as it is an important safety feature of the product. Thank you, Amber
Do you make a lid to cover the firepit bowl so that it can be used as a table when the fire pit is not in use?
Hello Jeneyl, Thank you for your question. While our firepits do come with a cover for the full table we do not include a lid specifically for the fire pit bowl. Best regards, Clayton
How many BTU?
Hi Mark! Great question — the Round and Nautical Fire Pit Tables produce 60,000 BTUs per hour (LP or NG), while the Square Fire Pit Table ranges from 60,000 to 90,000 BTUs. Thank you, Amber
I live in the Midwest so the winters can be harsh. Will the cover provided be enough to protect the firepit in the winter? Is there an option to put a flat cover over the bowl to protect it? The provided cover collect rain and has to be scooped out every time it rains. Also, do the chairs need covered in the winter?
Hi Sandy, Thank you for your questions! The cover provided with the Fire Pit Table is designed to keep dirt and debris away from the heat source. Although you don't need to cover your POLYWOOD furniture, this can prolong its life and make cleaning easier between uses. POLYWOOD does not sell furniture covers directly, but you can purchase them from retailers such as Coverstore. Coverstore also offers optional airbags that can be inflated to fill in the fire pit area so rain doesn't pool. You'll need the product's dimensions to find a cover that properly fits your furniture. Use our Product Search page to find your furniture, then check the _Product Details_ section to see the specific dimensions. Thanks, Lana
I am a loyal customer of over 20 years, I have purchased 15 of your items at full cost, I would like to purchase another 6 chairs, however it would be nice if I could buy them at a discount. Could someone tell me when I can look for those promotions please? Or are you willing to offer me a discount on 6 Vintage garden arm chairs in Gray Color?

I bought some extra glass beads. Can you cover the burners with glass beads and not create a problem?
Hi Beth, Thank you for your question! We recommend only using the 2 bags of glass beads that come standard with the Fire Pit Table. Adding additional beads will impede the gas flow and potentially cause the Fire Pit Table to malfunction. Thanks, Lana
Can the fire tables be Connected to natural gas lines?
Hi Jay, Great question! You can choose from either LP – Liquid Propane, or NG – Natural Gas. POLYWOOD Fire Tables come set-up for LP, however a NG conversion kit also comes with the unit. Thanks for asking, Lana
I read responses to questions under the Nautical and Round fire pit tables saying that the Square table's BTUs range from 60,000 to 90,000. Can you briefly describe what modification or requirement has to be met to obtain the 90,000 over 60,000 BTUs? Thank you, in advance.
Hi Gina, there is a knob to adjust the flame height on the unit. The higher the flame, the more BTUs. Typically you can operate for an average of 8 hours when burning on high and up to 16-20 hours when burned on low. Thanks for asking! Lana
One piece of the glass fire guard broke. How can I I order on piece of glass?
Hi Anne, I'm sorry that a piece of the glass guard broke. Please reach out to our Help Center for assistance with getting a new part. Thanks for asking! Lana
How big is the fire bowl on 42” fire pit?
Thank you for your question, Doug! The bowl on the 42" fire pit is approximately 20" in diameter. Happy shopping! Thanks, Lana
42" Fire Table how many BTU's? How do you switch it to Natural Gas or do you need to order it that way?
Hi Robert, Thank you for your inquiry! The Fire Pit Table produces between 50,000 and 60,000 BTUs and comes with the converter to switch from propane to natural gas. Thanks! Lana
How do Polywood fire pits hold up to hail? Also, how do Polywood fire pits withstand so much heat?
Hi Laura, Thank you for reaching out, and these are really great questions! POLYWOOD fire tables are rated at 55,000 BTUs per hour, and have the same durability standards as our POLYWOOD furniture. While they can be used in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall. they should be covered once they've cooled to protect the burners from moisture, rainfall, and hail. This simple step will allow your family to get much more mileage out of your piece and avoid any potential damage to the inner mechanisms. Hope This Helps! Tracey
Purchased prior to including the wind guard, glass stones and cover. Can I purchase just the wind guard!
Hello Randee, Fire Pit Tables purchased from POLYWOOD have always come with the wind guard, glass stones and cover. If you have a POLYWOOD Fire Pit Table and are in need of a new wind guard, you can contact customer service at hello@polywood.com. They will need your order information, to ensure that you would be getting the correct wind guard, and can then help you with that purchase. Thanks, Mindy
Does the fire pit come assembled?
Hello Lisa, Thank you for your question. The fire pit table does require assembly upon delivery. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction, and we provide detailed assembly instructions to make the process as straightforward as possible. I hope this helps! Thank you.
Can the fire pit be placed directly on a Trex deck without a heat barrier underneath it?
Hi Mark, Excellent question! The Square 42" Fire Pit Table is safe to use on wood and composite decks, concrete patios, yards, etc. Thank you, Michelle
Can it be used under a covered Patio ? The roof is 9-11ft high.
Hello Brigit, The Firepit itself is not approved for that type of application, however, there shouldn't be a problem if the patio is covered, but not enclosed, and has a minimum porch area of 96 square feet and the ceiling is at least 92 inches high. Thanks, Mindy
Is there a cover for the actual fire pit so it could serve as a larger table?
Hello Ray, Great question! Our fire pit tables do not come with POLYWOOD covers for the burners to make a table from the fire pit when not in use. Our Burner components do come from The Outdoor Great room Company and they do sell a variety of accessories for the burner bowls. outdoorrooms.com/fire-pit-tables-crystal-firer-plus/accessories?page=2 Thank you for reaching out, Mindy
What is the btu
Hello Vangie, Thank you for your interest in our Round 42" Fire Pit Table. That table produces 60,000 BTUs per hour. Thanks -Jason
