Obvious defective blemishes but customer service won’t accomodate.

"Chair has odd defect of blemishes on two pieces. Customer service was sent a photo and offered a free replacement. I requested a price reduction instead to avoid disassembling and shipping and assembling a replacement chair. CS said they would check. Later I received an email stating . that this is normal and no refund. Chair clearly is clearly defective. Does not match their website photo. Other Polywood furniture I purchased last year were smooth not wrinkled."

Great Product

"I was very pleased with the product And the workmanship. Assembly of the arms was not difficult, but there was a trick to it. After doing the first chair according to the directions, I actually found it easier to screw the stud into the back rest of the chair first and I used a needle nose vice grip to keep it in place while I screwed the arm onto it. Once I reached the spacer in the screw stud, I removed the vice grip and then continued to wind the arm onto the back rest until it was fully in place and I could attach the base of the armrest to the chair with the boat provided. I found my approach much easier than what the directions were telling me to do. The reason for me changing the approach is that I found that when I followed directions for the first chair I noticed that the screw stud was going too far into the back rest of the chair as I continued to wind the armrest. The screw stud actually started to come through to the other side of the back rest. That’s when I changed my approach by first attaching the screw stud to the back rust and holding it in place with a needle nose, vice grip. Once I did, that assembly of the rest of the chairs was a breeze."

So happy

"Great chair! So happy it came pre-assembled, with only the arms to put on! Solid build and the brown color looks wonderful. The seats are comfortable on their own, but we will look into getting cushions for when we have guests. Highly recommend this company and this product!"

Q&A

What size cushion is recommended for this chair?
Hi Katie, Thank you for reaching out with your quest. We recommend our Standard Seat Cushion, which measures 17" D x 18.5" W x 2.5" H. This size is designed to fit the seat of this chair comfortably. I hope this answers your inquiry. Best, The POLYWOOD Team
Will these fit under the studio parson table?
Hi Cathy, Thank you for your question! There is approximately 2" of clearance between the top of the chair arm to the bottom of the table apron so you can slide the chairs under the table. Happy shopping! Thanks, Lana
Does the glacier spa cushion color go well with the spa color for the umbrella?
Hi Trina, Great question! Glacier Spa is made of Revolution fabric and Spa is made of Sunbrella fabric. Both are all-weather outdoor performance fabrics, however, they do have a slightly different texture to them. The Revolution fabrics are thicker and softer than the Sunbrella fabrics. The colors can be used together in the same setting. If you would like to see the fabrics prior to purchasing your furniture, you can purchase a sample of each on polywood.com. Thanks for reaching out, Brooke
Do these chairs stack?
Hello! The Traditional Garden Dining Arm Chair are not stackable. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us! Lindsey
Which seat cushions are most appropriate for the garden dining chair?
Hello! Here is the link to the correct cushion. We hope to have cushions available again in September. Please check back then. Thanks! Karen
What is the weight limit on the chairs ?
Hi there, The Traditional Garden Dining Arm Chair has been tested to ASTM standards and has been rated for commercial use at up to 400 lbs. Thanks for asking! Kaylan
This question is really for the company. We just got our new garden chairs and table. We wanted the cushions to match a loveseat and chair that we already had. Those cushions were Pacific Blue. Our new table and dining chairs have Cast Royal cushions, which are not the same. Is is possible to get 6 Pacific Blue cushions for the Garden chairs? Thanks, Cathy
Hi Cathy, Unfortunately, the Pacific Blue color has been discontinued and is no longer available through us. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any further questions about this, please contact our Customer Experience Team at hello@polywood.com. Thank you for reaching out to us about this! Ashley
What is the height of the arm from the floor? I want to make sure it will fit under the table I am considering.
Hi Sarah, The height of the arm is approximately 24 1/8". Thanks for asking! Ashley
