Do the cushions have ties so that they can be secured to the swing?

My current swing chains are 50.5 inches apart. Will the Vineyard Deep Seating Swing work?

Hi Eleanor, The Vineyard Deep Seating Swing recommends handing the chains 55 inches apart. The recommended hanging spacing is designed to keep the chains close to perfectly straight up and down to not put extra stress on the swing. If a greater distance is used, it might pull the side frames outward a little over time. If possible, it would be best to secure a mounting board to their porch beams in which they can mount the swing to at the proper spacing. Thanks for asking! Lana

We suggest a 9ft ceiling maximum, but you can adjust the chains. We do also suggest making those adjustments so that there is approximately 18" between the swing and the floor.
