Estate Rocking Chairs

"While assembling our new rockers we noticed the side rail drill holes were not aligned correctly. We called customer service, pictures were submitted & within a few days correct replacement parts were delivered. They compliment our porch beautifully."

Debra H. (5/5)

I’m not very comfortable

"We ordered this rocking chair, hoping to create a comfy sitting space for reading on our deck. It looks fine, and wasn’t too hard to put together, but is not at all comfortable for sitting. The back is extremely upright, so only good for limited seating time. Would recommend for decoration, but not for functionality!"

Paige N. (2/5)

We got two of these

"We got two of these fantastic rockers for our front porch. They are the perfect size, not too big, as our front porch is a bit narrow. They’re comfortable to sit in and the quality is top-notch – just what you expect from Polywood."

Robin M. (5/5)

Non-shipment of order

"We are still waiting for our Estate Rocking Chair. It has over a month. I called the first time and the CSR didn’t have a clue how to help with our “missing” order. I called again and they had to reorder the chair because they couldn’t find the first order. It’s been a week now and the order status says that they are still in production. So it hasn’t shipped yet. This is very, very disappointing customer service and experience. This Rocker is for a 90th birthday party celebration and it looks like we are going miss it which is very sad."

Tanya A. (5/5)

Love polywood

"I already have an Adirondack chair and stool. The rockers I got are perfect for my porch. My husband had no problem putting them together"

Diane H. (5/5)

Sturdy Rocker

"I love the comfort and shape of this rocker. I got the cushion which makes it even more comfortable. We had some difficulty getting it together but we did it and it looks great on my patio."

Julia M. (5/5)

Rocker is a nice addition

"Rocker is a nice addition to my deck and the two Adirondack chairs I purchased last year. I’m a 75 year old woman and I was able to assemble it on my own. Thanks for your great products!"

Q&A

Can I get a sample of the mahogany color.
Hi Alex, thank you for your interest in the Estate Rocking Chair! Yes — you can purchase color samples online, including the Mahogany color, to help you see the finish in person before placing your order. Please let us know if you have any other questions — we’re happy to help! Best, Miriam
I need to replace the back supports on my Estate rocking chair.
Hi Thomas, Thanks for contacting POLYWOOD! If you haven't already, please file a claim through the Help Center for assistance with your back support. Thanks, Lana
what are the dimensions of the box they are shipped in?
Hi Karen, Thank you for your question! The box dimensions are 45" L x 24" W x 7" H and it weighs 40 lbs. Thanks, Lana
Do you supply black screws with the black rockers? I don’t care for the look of stainless steel screws (silver) that you can see on a rocker that is put together
Hello Heather, When ordering furniture with the Vintage Finish, like this item, we supply black hardware with the Vintage Coffee color, white hardware with the Vintage White and chrome (silver) with the Vintage Sahara color. If you are purchasing the Classic Finish, and purchasing the black color, it will come with black hardware. I apologize, but we are unable to send it with other hardware. Thanks, Mindy
Does it come in blue?
Hi D.S. Great question! The Estate Rocking Chair is not available in blue. The Presidential Rocking Chair, SKU# R100 is the only porch-style rocking chair that comes in blue. Thanks for asking! Lana
How do I return chairs that have been put together ?? I want to replace with two other rockers .
Hi Debra, Great question! We offer a 30-day No-Hassle return policy. We require that all returned products be in original packaging and re-sellable condition. Once your chairs are boxed up and ready to return, we will issue a call tag, pick up your items, and issue your refund. Thanks for asking! Lana
Why do prices vary with different colors but same design??
Hi Phyllis, Thank you for your inquiry! Producing lighter shades involves additional labor and requires specific materials to achieve the desired hue, therefore increasing the cost of the lighter and brighter color palette. Thanks, Lana
Where is it made?
Hi Lark, Great question! POLYWOOD furniture is made in the USA in our Indiana and North Carolina facilities. Thanks! Lana
Are the rockers [the curved members] available separately as replacement parts? What would be the approximate cost??
Hi Tom, Thank you for your inquiry! We do offer replacement parts for our rocking chairs. Visit POLYWOOD'S Help Center and if it's still covered under warranty, select the Warranty Claims box, or if it's for purchase, follow the link to Additional or Replacement Cushions & Parts. Thanks! Lana
How much assembly is required?
Hi Marilyn, Great question! All of POLYWOOD's assembly instructions are posted on the product page. Go to the Product Details section, and just below the line drawing, you'll see it labeled - Assembly Information. This will help give an expectation of the time and effort the assembly will require. Thanks! Lana
What is the recommended weight limit for people sitting in these rockers? I have a very large brother and I don’t want the rocker breaking if he sits in it.
Hi Debbie, Thank you for your question! The Estate Porch rocker has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. Thanks, Lana
In your photos, the screws seem to be quite visible. Do you have any matching bungs or screw covers that can be used to conceal the screws?
Hello Mary, I apologize, we do not provide screw covers for visible screws. We do color match the screws with the white and black chairs. The slate grey, teak, green and mahogany will also have black hardware. The remaining colors will have stainless steel hardware. Thanks for asking, Mindy
I’m a small women (5 feet tall) and would like a rocking chair for my balcony. I’d like to be able to see over the railing which is standard height. Which rocker do you recommend?
Hello Sandy, Based on my Google search, the standard height for a deck railing is 36", or 3 feet high. At 5 feet tall, with a seat height of 17" on this chair, you should be able to see over the railing. I can't guarantee this, as each person may have different size legs and such, but I believe it would work out for you. Please keep in mind that we have a 30 day no hassle return policy for direct orders. If you get the chair, and happen to not like how tall it is, you can return it. Thanks for asking, Mindy
What is the weight limit
Hello Michelle, Thank you for your interest in our Estate Rocking Chair. With all of POLYWOODs products, they are put through standard ASTM testing. The Estate Rocking Chair has been tested to hold up to 400 pounds. Thanks, Mindy
Which seat cushion fits the Estate Rocking chair?
Hello Ann, If we have a cushion that fits best, it will be listed under the color options, in the drop down titled Shop Perfect Pairings. In this case it is: https://www.polywood.com/seat-cushion-20-d-x-20-w-x-2-5-h-xpws0007.html Thanks for asking, Mindy
Is the vintage coffee color a brown color? The name would suggest it is, but it looks grey on my screen, so I can't tell. Thanks!
Hello Kathleen, Thank you for your interest in our products. Our Vintage Coffee Color is a dark dark brown. When in more a shaded area it will look almost like black coffee, compared to when in the sun when it is more of a casual coffee color. Thanks -Jason
What are the differences between Estate rockers and Presidential rockers?
Hi Memaevans, Both rockers feature a contoured seat and upright sit. The seat width (20"), seat depth (19"), and seat height (17") is also the same on both rockers. The top rail on the Estate Rocking Chair (R199) features a straight design and the top rail on the Presidential Rocking Chair (R100) features a curved design. Also, the arm rests on the Presidential Rocking Chair (R100) are slightly higher than the arm rests on the Estate Rocking Chair (R199). Thanks for asking, Brooke
Can this rocker be used on a trek deck without damaging it
Hello Marian, Thank you for reaching out to us about our Estate Rocking Chair. We have seen our product when moved across composite decking like Trex which has been seen to cause scratching/scuffing. So we do recommend potentially a small rug or something similar. Thanks -Jason
what is the weight limit?
Hello Denise, Thank you for your interest in our Estate Rocking Chair. With all of POLYWOODs products, they are put through standard ASTM testing. The Estate Rocking Chair has been tested to hold up to 400 pounds and has been seen to hold more as well. Thanks -Jason
What is the weight capacity?
Hi Tara, All of our furniture is tested using ATSM standards. This chair has been tested to hold up to 400 pounds. Thanks for asking, Michelle
