We live in Central Florida with very hot, humid, wet weather, and almost daily thunderstorms in the summer. Our question is how will the fabric and the cushions hold up to that weather? We're looking for something we do not need to bring in, but will dry quickly after a rain and will not mold. We recently purchased a polywood coffee table and it gets extremely hot in the sun, thus we are looking for cushions so we can sit on the furniture during the day, otherwise what's the point of having it?

Hi Brian, Great question! Our pillows and cushions are made with a thick and resilient blended polyester fiber fill. We upholster our cushions and pillows with Revolution Performance fabrics which are resistant to salt, sun, mold, and mildew and made of polypropylene. Its wax coating causes dew/drizzle to bead up so it can easily be wiped off. Heavier rain passes through but the fabric dries fairly quickly. Do the cushions and fabrics have the same 20 year residential warranty, and is it against fading and other issues from the elements?

Hi Brian, Thank you for your question! POLYWOOD's cushions, pillows, and umbrella canopies are warranted to be free from workmanship or material defects for thirty (30) days from purchase. The fabric on a cushion, pillow, or umbrella canopy is warranted to not tear, mildew, or fade excessively for one (1) year from purchase. Is there a cover for the fire pit? Looks like the fire area would fill up from rain if not covered.

Hi Jenny, Thank you for your question! POLYWOOD'S Fire Pit Table do come with a cover to keep debris off and away from the ignitor. If you want to prevent water from pooling on the cover you can put a half inflated beach ball in the center of the table after it has completely cooled, before putting the cover on. Thanks! Lana

How much do the chairs swivel? And how tight is the spring…as in if you turn to the side does the spring try to bring you back or does the chair easily stay turned?

Can the fire pit go under a covered patio that is screened in?

Hello Brooke, that is an excellent question. For our fire tables it is recommended that from the base of the burner pan that you have 72" from the base to the ceiling and 24" away from any walls. Are the cushions removable? What type of fabric is the cushion made of and how can they be cleaned? Thank you!

Hi Dawn, Thank you for your questions! You are able to remove the cushions from the frame, but the cushions are needed while the chair is being used to ensure complete comfort. Depending on which fabric you select, it will either be Revolution or Sunbrella fabric. I have included the break out below on page 9.
