Enjoy years of smooth-moving relaxation on POLYWOOD porch swings and gliders. Our furniture is made in the USA with durable, sustainable materials that breeze through harsh weather and seasons of use. Ideal for quiet moments alone or cuddling up, these styles coax you to slow down, settle in, and sway awhile.
Built to outperform any storm. POLYWOOD outdoor swings and gliders deliver unmatched durability season after season, thanks to our proprietary lumber and weather-resistant materials that easily withstand blizzards, intense sun, heat waves, and torrential rains.
We stand behind our American craftsmanship with a 20-year residential lumber warranty. Built with Solidcore™ durability, Genuine POLYWOOD™ lumber is not prone to splintering, cracking, chipping, peeling, or rotting.
You can trust our outdoor swings and gliders to always look their best with minimal care and upkeep. They don’t need to be covered or stored in the off-season, and clean easily with soap and water.
Even after years of life under the sun, our swings and gliders maintain their gorgeous hues. We craft Genuine POLYWOOD™ lumber with high-quality pigments and UV inhibitors to ensure rich, vibrant colors that resist fading and discoloration.
POLYWOOD began in an Indiana garage in 1990. While our company size has changed, our commitment to quality craftsmanship remains the same. Today, we produce durable, sustainable outdoor swings and gliders at state-of-the-art facilities in Indiana and North Carolina.
Our porch swing designs feature bench-style seats, slatted backs, and armrests on both sides. With room for two to three, they’re the ideal choice for chats with friends or closing your eyes for a bit.
Similar to traditional styles but with extra seat depth and comfortable outdoor cushions, our deep seating swings offer plenty of room to kick back with a good book or snuggle up with your grandkids.
POLYWOOD daybed swings have even more space to stretch out than a deep seating swing. Suspended by strong ropes, the large frames are topped with thick, all-weather cushions, creating the ultimate lounge or naptime spot.
These are the most common glider designs, and they seat two or more people. This style offers an open seat and back, which is great for cozying up with a loved one or enjoying a little extra room during alone time.
Glider chairs are typically made for one person and often have a matching ottoman that moves.
Made in the USA with ultradurable and recyclable plastic, our heavy-duty lumber can handle years of exposure to snow, rain, and sun. Plus, it cleans easily with soap and water and is available in a range of fade-resistant colors that never need painting or staining.
Whether you’re shopping for a daybed swing or a seat cushion for extra support, rest easy knowing that we only use premium performance fabric for our furniture and accessories.
The main differences are that porch swings are suspended from a ceiling joist or freestanding frame and move in a wide arc, and gliders sit on the ground with seats that move back and forth on fixed tracks attached to stationary bases.
You’ll need to account for the furniture dimensions and the room needed for movement. To allow a full range of motion, we recommend two feet of space to the front and back for outdoor gliders. For swings, we suggest three to four feet of clearance in the front and back, plus 12 inches of space on both sides.
