can you get chairs without arms

Hi Joe, thanks for your question! The Vineyard 7-Piece Dining Set you’re looking at comes standard with armchairs. However, we do offer dining chairs without arms in the same Vineyard collection, so you can absolutely create a similar setup with arm less seating if that’s your preference. Best, Miriam

When I opened the boxes, half of the chair seats are at an angle. (pre-arm rest assembly) Is that expected? It seems worrisome.

Some of our customers have used outdoor rugs and others have chosen to put adhesive furniture glides, like that you find in your local hardware store, on the feet of our furniture. Does the furniture get really hot to the touch?

Hi Christine! Great question! We've designed POLYWOOD furniture to remain outdoors in all climates, but on hot days in direct sunlight, darker lumber colors readily absorb heat. On hot sunny days, we recommend testing furniture temperature with the back of your hand to make sure it's safe to sit on. How tall is it from the floor to the bottom of the table? From the floor to the tops of the armrests? I'm trying to figure out if the arms of the armchairs will fit under the table, but I only see dimensions to the top of the table.

Hi Melissa, All of our dining chairs are designed to fit under any of the tables in the same height family. The measurement from the bottom of this table to the ground is approximately 25.96 inches. What is curb side delivery when living rural? We live back a drive

Hello Krista, That is a great question! If your order is parcel and does not require a signature, curbside would be to the mailbox. You would receive tracking when the order ships, so that you can keep and eye on it and know what day it is planned to be delivered. If your order is Freight and would be on a pallet and require a signature, you would schedule a delivery with the shipper. At that point you can discuss with the local hub what curbside means, based on your address and area. Thanks, Mindy

Is the black color hot in the sun?

However, on very hot, sunny days some of our darker lumber colors will absorb heat more readily if they are placed in the direct sunlight. How do I knock out the umbrella whole it seems to be in there very tight?
