Hello, I'm trying to decide which three-piece rocker set to order and am wondering why the Jefferson is so much more expensive than the others. Would I find it to be significantly sturdier? Easier to assemble? Longer lasting? Thanks for responding.

Hello Faith, I'm afraid I can't say for sure, without any other set to compare it to. All of our furniture will be just as sturdy and will last just as long. The price differences come from things such as the side table being different, the amount of work that our production facility has to do, or the amount of lumber that is on one over another. This particular chair has a seat that has many smaller seat slats, so it may take more time to be assembled by our staff. All of our rockers are close in size, but are not exactly the same, so one may be slightly larger, and that would also be part of that cost. I hope this helps. Thanks for asking, Mindy

Is the 26.5" width for the seat only, or the width from the outside edges of the arms and/or rockers?

If the width of each rocker is 26.5" and you turn the table so the width is 14", why is the recommended minimum space 105"? (This is for the Jefferson collection.)

Is there a rocking chair with a curved back and curved seat?

We do however have some rocking chairs featuring comfortably contoured seats and backs. What is the weight limit on rocker?

Hello! We don't test our products to a weight limit. We test to ASTM Standards. This Jefferson Rocking Chair passed a 400 lb static load test. It also passed an impact test that drops 150 lbs ten times from a height of 8". These are both a limit to pass as commercial grade. This is the best standard that we test to at this time. Currently, we haven't load tested our Two Shelf Side Table. I can say that this set is very sturdy and strong. Thank you for the great question! Kevin
