What are POLYWOOD cushions made from?

For the best year-round performance in outdoor settings, POLYWOOD cushions and pillows are crafted with outdoor performance fabric that resists weather, salt, sun, mold, and mildew; and filled with durable, thick, and quick-drying blended polyester fiber.

Are there cleaning recommendations for POLYWOOD cushions?

Do POLYWOOD seat cushions have ties to attach them to the furniture?

Our seat cushions that are custom-made for our Adirondack chairs, chaise lounges, rocking chairs, swings, gliders, dining chairs, and benches with backs include ties that allow them to be securely attached to each coordinating seat.

Can I power-wash POLYWOOD pillows and cushions?

We do not recommend power washing, as that can damage the performance fabric and filling. The high-pressure jets are too harsh for any fabric and can cause tearing and fraying. Plus, the water can force its way into the filling, which can lead to lumping and loss of shape, which impacts comfort, support, and aesthetics.

Can I put my POLYWOOD cushions and pillows in the washer and dryer?

It's not recommended to clean POLYWOOD cushions and pillows in the washer and dryer. This can damage the seams and fabric, cause the filling to clump, and leave detergent residue that harms the fabric. High heat from the dryer can also shrink the material and reduce its water resistance.
