What are the dimensions in the space below the table? We are looking at the 36 inch bar table. We have an ubrella and want to make sure the base will fit in the legs.

You’ll want your umbrella base to be slightly smaller than that to fit comfortably. How do you get the hole cover out?

Hi Carmen, Thanks for your question! The overall table dimensions are 35.13" Radius x 42" High. The approximate dimensions for the feet of the table are 18" W x 3.5"H x 1.5"D per foot. The brace between the legs is approximately 15" L. If you look at the customer-provided photos at the bottom of the product page you will see photos of bar-height side chairs, and armchairs paired with the table. Does the black get really hot in the sun?

With our dark lumber it is known to retain heat much easier than other colors. We advise before sitting or using this furniture to test how hot it is by touching it with the back of your hand. The picture of the top of the grey table shows it without an umbrella hole. Can you get it without an umbrella hole?

Hello Christina, The 36" Round Farmhouse Bar Table, as well as all of our dining tables over 36", do come with an umbrella hole. We do not offer them without, however, there is a plug or cover for that hole, should you choose not to use an umbrella with it. Thanks for asking, Mindy

Would south beach bar chairs fit under this table? If so, how many would fit around it?

All of our Bar height chairs are designed to pair with any of our bar height tables so the arms will fit under the table, how far depends on the legs. Do you recommend a 7.5Foot umbrella for 36 inch table? Also the inside measurement won't house a standard width base. What do you recommend for this? and do you carry smaller bases with height extensions?

Hi Ruth, Thanks for reaching out! Our umbrellas are 9' and you can pair that with the table, so using one that's shorter won't be an issue as far as whether the table can support it or not. I would just recommend checking the distance from bottom of the pole to the opening mechanism for your umbrella, since it may not be higher than the table top surface. Our base is about 19.3" in diameter and thin enough at the edge to fit under the gap in the table feet. We only have the one base and it isn't sold separately. It comes with our umbrellas. The distance from the inside of one foot to the inside of the other is about 15", so you should be able to use any base that's 15" wide or less. Have a great day! Candace

Does a standard outdoor umbrella work in this table? Thinking length not diameter.

Hello, We pair a 9' Tilt umbrella with all of our tables. Our umbrella base will come with an extender so the crank for the umbrella sits above the table top. You can use any standard umbrella as long as you have the umbrella base extender. Thank you for taking the time to ask! Ashley
