Glider chair missing parts

"Love the glider but when we went to assemble the hardware for the glider is missing. To say I was disappointed is not strong enough! For what I paid all the parts should have been there!! I ask that you send these parts and you will notice I usually use white glove delivery but I could not get that for this chair. I would appreciate it if you would send these as soon as possible. If you need the part numbers I can also provide that information and seeing that this chair was a gift for an 89 yr. old lady I am very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Size good and glides goood. The back of chair seems too straight though, would be better if the back was slanted backwards a little more so not sitting so straight would be more comfortable"

The glider chairs are perfect

"The glider chairs are perfect in front of an outdoor fireplace. Thank you Polywood!"

Love the chair but could have been better

"The chair looks and works great but they should have made the base in the front a little longer like the back. Notice that when you go to get out of the chair it starts to tip forward. If a small child is on it who cannot reach the ground it may end up tipping forward on them when they try to get out of the chair."

"I love these gliders. I have four of them. Well made and comfortable. Impervious to weather."

Solid build but uncomfortable in the seat and legs

"The chairs and foot rests are constructed well and were easily assembled. I’m 5’8”, athletic build and have lean legs. I’m unable to sit in the chairs for long periods of time due to the shape of the seat. The seat is constructed lower in the buttocks area and raises up through the thighs. The height of the edge of the seat is high enough that it does not allow my feet to full rest on the ground and results in pressure on the back of my thighs. It’s uncomfortable after a short while and causes numbness my in legs and feet. I’ve tried cushions but this only creates a larger gap in my feet fully touching the ground."

Q&A

Are cup holders available
Hi George! Thank you for your question. At this time, we do not currently offer or manufacture cup holders, but we love the idea and appreciate the suggestion. We’ll be sure to pass that feedback along to our product team. Thank you, Amber
The description lists the weight limit at 250 lbs but previous questioned answered on the weight limit says up to 400 pounds. Can you confirm which is correct?
Hello Kelly, The Classic Adirondack Glider Chair has a 250 pound weight capacity. Best regards, Clayton
Can you recommend a back pillow for this glider (2024), the older question SKU is no longer available.
Hello Mountain Man, I apologize, we do not offer back cushions for these items. The back is 17.625" wide and 27.042" tall, if you would like to search for a back cushion at your local home good stores or even on places like Amazon. Thanks, Mindy
Can you pair these chairs with a dining table?
Hello Katie, Our dining chairs typically have 17-18" seat heights and about a 24" arm height, as our dining tables typically have a 29" table height. This chair has a seat height of 18.5", but an arm height of 26.56". With the lip that is on the dining tables, there is about 26" of space. That means you wouldn't be able to push the chair under the table at all, and you would be away from the table. I'm afraid to say, I don't think they will work at a dining table. Thanks for asking, Mindy
I bought a glider set a few years ago, do you not sell them anymore, I love the glider?
Hi Janis, Thank you for your question! We do not currently offer glider sets, but you can purchase individual items to create your ideal seating configuration. Thanks, Lana

What is the seat recline angle on this chair and how does it compare to the angles on your other Adirondack chairs. I’m concerned this may be too upright to sit around a fire pit for long periods of time.
Great question, John! The Classic Adirondack Glider back has a recline of 99.8 degrees, as compared to our Adirondack chairs which have a recline between 103 degrees and 104 degrees. Thanks, Lana
I see that the height from the ground to top of the seat at the front is 18.53in. What is the height from the ground to the back of the seat (the lowest point of the seat)?
Hi Lindsay, Thank you for your question! The seat height where the back meets the seat is 15.5". Thanks, Lana

Can you elaborate on "Marine-grade quality hardware"? We live by the sea and the salt air is very harsh on all metals and parts. Is this stainless? Can it withstand salt air?
Hello Michele, Having our furniture in a salt air environment may mean extra care to keep it in good condition as long as possible. All POLYWOOD furniture hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, and other fasteners) is made using marine-grade 18-8 stainless steel with an AlloChrome 3200+™ finish and cosmetic coating. Here’s how to clean these hardworking parts. Mix dish soap and warm water in a bucket. Apply the soapy mixture to the hardware with a soft-bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly and wipe away excess water with a dry towel. Salt Air Tips: Keep your hardware in great shape with these corrosion-prevention tips. Apply a color-appropriate appliance touch-up paint (available at your local hardware store). Dab on a coat of clear car wax. If the hardware comes in contact with salt water, rinse it right away with fresh water and towel dry. I hope this helps, Mindy
We have 6 gliders with stools and love them. We are building our pool with water shelf and would like to purchase 2 more chairs to set in the water on the shelf. Do you have chairs designed for this
Hello Mitzi, Thank you for reaching out to POLYWOOD about our products. First off we are glad to heat you are enjoying our gliders. With our furniture it can be used on a water/sun shelf in a pool. We just recommend only keeping it in there during use as the water and chemicals can overtime possibly deteriorate the sturdiness of the product. Thanks -Jason
Do any of the glider chairs have a curved back instead of straight across?
Hello Cindy, I apologize, at this time we do not have any curved back gliders. I will pass your interest on to the design teams for consideration. Please sign up for the newsletter, as this is the best place to see any potential new products. Thanks, Mindy
Which side table would you recommend to purchase with the glider?
Hello Kathleen, That would depend on how large a table you would like. Most customers use with a side table or a coffee table, as the glider motion may not work as well under a dining table. My favorite side table is the Long Island 18" Side Table, which would look nice in between a couple chairs. My favorite coffee table is the Chinoiserie Coffee Table. Thanks, Mindy

Hey Crystal, Thank you for reaching out. At this time we do not offer the glider in the tangerine color. I will pass this along as feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve our products for our customers. Thanks -Jason
