Hello Denise, I love the idea of a black rocker and the light grey cushions! Slate Grey lumber with Charcoal cushions would be great. It would be contrast to the rocker, with switching the colors. The Parchment sling material is a tan sandy color. This is also a very earthy color, so it would go well with the colors you have. You could also make them coordinate directly, by choosing Black lumber and Metallic sling. What size cover will I need to cover the entire dining set?

Hi Gina, Thank you for your question! The table diameter is 48" and the chair dimensions are 25" D x 36' H. You may use those dimensions when shopping for covers. Are the sling back chairs more comfortable then the regular chairs that go around the table? We have regular sling back swivel chairs now that are comfortable with a lot of give. I can’t decide if we should pay the extra and get the sling back.

What about the metal bars across the back of the chairs ? Won’t these rust ? What are they made of or treated with?

Hey Staci, Thank you for reaching out to us this is a good question. The metal bar across the back of the chair is clear coated Stainless steel. We do have some care and maintenance to help keep them looking nice and avoid rusting. I will include those below. **Supplies Needed** - Mild dish soap - 5-gallon plastic bucket - Soft-bristle brush - Towel  **Instructions** 1. Mix the dish soap and warm water in a bucket. 2. Apply the soapy mixture to the hardware with a soft-bristle brush. 3. Rinse thoroughly and wipe away excess water with a dry towel. **Salt Air Tips:** Keep your hardware in great shape with these corrosion-prevention tips. - Apply a color-appropriate appliance touch-up paint (available at your local hardware store). - Dab on a coat of clear car wax. - If the hardware comes in contact with salt water, rinse it right away with fresh water and towel dry. Do the chairs specifically, and or table legs have pads where they touch flooring surface, or do is it just polywood? i am concerned about sliding and moving on condo balcony.

Hello Brian, With our products it is just POLYWOOD, the chairs and table do not have padding underneath the legs or feet. You certainly can look to see if there is a foot pad or anything that can be bought to use. Otherwise, our best recommendation is a rug if sliding does become an issue. Thanks -Jason

What's the difference between the regular finish and the vintage finish? It sure would be nice to Polywood would post pictures of all the furniture colors and slings, etc.

Hello Nadine, The difference is in the actual finish, or surface of the POLYWOOD lumber. On each piece of furniture, it should change color once you make your selection. You can also search for samples, and see pictures of the color and finishes up close, On that same spot, you can also purchase lumber in whatever finish or color you would like, so that you can see it in person before purchasing if you would like. The Classic finish, has a more smooth texture. The Vintage finish has a wire-brushed texture, giving the appearance of painted wood. Each of the Coastal Dining Chairs weighs 27 pounds. They should all be heavy and sturdy enough to withstand regular wind.
