Is it possible to order the Edge sofa in a 4-seat configuration without the corner? So, it would be a right and left arm + two armless configuration.

Hi Lesly, Great question! You can order the EDGE Deep Seating Set without the corner seat, but you would have to order each seat individually, as we cannot customize a set. I too would love to order the Edge sectional but have hesitation on the overall feedback on both models. I am curious if something as simple as cushions that secure with hand ties or velcro ties is being considered as an option to remedy issues. I ask because we have a couple of your pieces already (with no cushions) and love the sturdiness and weight, and would love to remodel a back patio with your products. We live in a very windy area of central Texas, and want a set that's both heavy enough to handle the wind, as well as the cushions staying put and not frequently having to be removed due to random storms.

Has the cushion design been fixed? I keep reading that they slide and you sometimes can't use the sofa; however, that was in some older reviews. If the overall design has not been fixed, what have others done to remedy this?

However, we do provide the dimensions of the individual sectional chairs that you can add up to find the overall dimensions. Could I add the Edge 40 x 78" table to this and sit comfortable to use the table?

Hi Marilyn, Thank you for your question. Our deep seating furniture has a lower seat height than dining chairs and would likely not be a comfortable fit for a dining situation. As a suggestion, you may want to look at the Edge Coffee table if you are looking for conversations around the deep seating set. Looking to buy around seven pieces. However, Michelle and Jason in customer service, help me to understand. Your responses to the questions seem to contradict. Can you confirm, has the design flaw that causes cushions to slip been corrected in recent models?

Hello Blythe, Thank you for reaching out about this. I apologize for any contradicting information. Michelle is correct that we did add a bit of a lip to help try and prevent them from moving around. However, with our Deep Seating cushions, we do not have ties on these as we recommend regularly flipping them to avoid too much wear on one side. So we have still seen issues with the cushions sliding, but are actively looking for ways to make this less of an issue. Thanks -Jason

I would like to order the Edge furniture but how do you know that you will receive the furniture that has the design update on the cushion issue? The answers below state that the cushion design was corrected in 2020 but some of the reviews state from 2022 that the cushions still move. It sounds like it still has not been resolved. The frames in the EDGE 4-Piece Modular Deep Seating Set contain a .25 inch lip so that the cushions sit inside the seat, causing little to no movement. There are no dates associated with the questions and your response to the date of the design change is December of 2020. The review from August 2022 states that the cushions still move. I looked at the photo from the link you provided in one of the responses (with the 3 planters behind the chairs) and it does not clearly show your fix. Is it fixed as of March 1, 2023?

Hi Dana, thanks for your question and your interest in our furniture. The design change to help with cushions slipping was put into place December of 2020. Due to the proprietary nature of our furniture design, I am unable to state the exact specifics, but I can tell you that the frame was improved to hold the cushions better. Hello, I am considering purchasing the Edge module set but am concerned by the all of the comments regarding the comments slipping - seems silly for a $2k plus purchase. What is the thickness of the cushions and what is the seating height of the Vineyard collection?

Will Polywood be providing an actual solution for the cushions moving? I'm sorry, but when we are paying this much for furniture, I don't feel the provided solution of "using a non-slip cabinet liner under the cushions" is elegant nor in line with price point of this product. I am very interested in purchasing this and own several other Polywood sets, but the lack of solution from Polywood will keep me from purchasing. I feel that Polywood needs to step up provide additional pieces so the cushions cannot slide out the sides of the armrest. How do the cushions hold up if left out in the rain? Do they absorb a ton of rain water?

Hello! Our cushions are not designed to be weatherproof, so they do not repel water. The reason for this is because if water were to enter the shell of the cushion, then the foam insert inside the cushion could mold/mildew because it could not escape. Our fabrics allow water to permeate through the cushions shell, thus allowing moisture to escape/evaporate, and the cushion to dry. However, our cushions are weather resistant. Weather resistance is the ability of a material to prevent corrosion, loss of material or any sort of deterioration due to prolonged exposure to harsh environmental and weather conditions. If cushions are left out during a heavy rainstorm, we recommend standing the cushions on their side for the fastest method of drying. Thank you for your question! Oli
