“$2,549 Spent and Still No Furniture — Worst Customer Service I’ve Experienced”

"I placed my order for the Lakeside 4-Piece Deep Seating Set on 4/13/26 and spent $2,549. 00, yet over 5 weeks later I still have not received my furniture. What makes this even worse is that I have sent TWO emails trying to get an update and have received absolutely no response from customer service. Now I’m getting emails asking me to review furniture that I haven’t even received yet. That alone shows how disconnected their customer service and ordering system is. For the amount of money POLYWOOD charges, I expected much better communication and customer service. Extremely disappointed with this entire experience and I will never order from POLYWOOD again."

"We bought this Lakeside set as well as two Adirondack chairs and footrests. They are by far the best made I’ve ever seen. They all were delivered on a wrapped pallet and in heavy boxes. Easy to assemble with the tools provided. They hold up in cold and intense heat. No fading or wear. Gave it 4 stars because the cost is way up there. However, this should be our last set ever to buy."

"Exceeded expectations! I needed new patio furniture, and I was drawn to the recycled and "made in America" aspect of this product not to mention the warranty. The boxes arrived and I was initially concerned about the amount of assembly required. Assembly could not have been easier! Very few pieces, precise guide holes and good instructions. I had the 2 chairs and table assembled myself by hand before my husband arrived on the scene with a power tool. The loveseat is easier to assemble with 2 people, but I could have managed it alone if need be. I am thrilled with the quality of the frames, and the cushions are exceptionally high quality. I will be adding to the collection with a dining table and chairs next spring!"

We live in a wind prone area. Do tge cushion attach to the frames? Can you purchase replacement cushions?
Hello Amanda, Great questions! The deep seating cushions that come with the Lakeside 4 Piece unfortunately do not attach to the frame itself. We recommend velcro straps or snaps if wind is an issue. I’m going to purchase protective covers for the Lakeside 4-piece deep seating set I just bought. I found the dimensions on your website, but I think they include the cushions, which extend a little higher than the back of the seat frame. What are the dimensions of the chair and loveseat frames without the cushions? I will be storing the cushions separately.

Are the cushions zippered so I could take off cover to wash the covers??
Hi Kathy, Great question! The cushions do have zippers, but they are intended for use during manufacturing only—not for removing or adjusting the filling. Attempting to take out the filling could damage the cushion or make it difficult to reinsert properly. Our cushions are designed for spot cleaning only and should not be machine washed. What's the difference between Lakeside set and the allen + roth by POLYWOOD Oakport set sold by Lowes? Is it just design difference or materials?
Hello Qin, All genuine POLYWOOD materials are the same, made in the same facilities in the U.S.A. When there are different collections, the designs will be what separates them. For the set that I can see on Lowe's (PWS782-2) and this one on our website (PWS520-2), the coffee table is the same. The Allen + Roth look quite similar to the Lakeside, however there are slight design differences. The Allen + Roth has a different top piece on the back and is a little taller overall. I'm planning to purchase the 4 pc Lakeside deep seating group. When you click on the frame color and pillow/cushion color, please make your picture reflect the ACTUAL color of the items. It;s extremely difficult to select a fabric color. Not all options are represented in the colorful customer photographs.

There are now new dimensions indicated on the website for this grouping. The height listed for the chair and the loveseat is 35.53 and 35.49, respectively in the "what's included" section. In the "specification section", the height is listed as 31.81 and 31.63, respectively. Please advise which is accurate, as I am trying to buy covers and the height matters. Thank you!

Replacement cushions can be quoted and ordered through our Help Center. The cushion are not machine washable.
