How much weight do they hold?

Hello Anabella, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in our Modern Adirondack 3-Piece Set. With all of POLYWOOD's products they are put through standard ASTM testing. The chair is tested to hold up to 400 pounds and has been seen to hold more. Thanks -Jason

What style ottoman best matches the modern style?

Hi there! So sorry for any confusion! If you were to look at our website, you would see that we recommend the Vineyard Curveback Adirondack Ottoman. However, we do have many different styles of ottomans. If you want an ottoman that is going to be pretty much the same height as the seat of the Modern Adirondack Chair, then this would be the ottoman we would recommend. Hope this helps! When ordering a set does the table color match?

I think it is about 50/50 in terms of the sets having all of the pieces with the same color. Hi there, Thanks for asking! The Modern Adirondack chair sits slightly higher from the ground than the Classic Adirondack, but it's less than half an inch difference. I would recommend the Modern Curveback Adirondack Chair (AD620) because it's two inches higher off the ground. is the the texture rough or smooth?

What is the height from the seat of the chair to the back of the chair?

Hello Rachael, that is a good question. The depth of the seat on this chair is going to be 17.5" The length of the back of the chair from the base of the seat is 27.125" The height of the seat from the ground is 13.75" and the height difference between the front of the seat and the back of the seat is roughly 4.5". I am purchasing these chairs for Palm Springs, CA....very hot summers (110 degrees) and full sun. How do Polywood products stand up to the desert climate? Will the dark colors absorb more heat than the light/white versions?

Hello Kathy, that is a good question. For our lumber we us UV inhibitors and stabilizers in our HDPE plastic to help protect from intense UV exposure. This means that our lumber does hold up well in this type of weather, however with all objects in the sun, our darker colors will retain more heat. Are the tables and chairs heavy enough to withstand reasonably strong winds and not be moved?
