What is the difference in the Grant Park vs Modern Adirondack. They look exactly alike.

Is there an ottoman that would fit the height and match this chair?

Hi Ts, Thank you for your question! We don't have recommended ottomans for our rocking chairs. When considering the fit and the aesthetic of the Modern Adirondack Rocking chair, the OT53 Classic Adirondack Ottoman and the OT400 Vineyard Ottoman are around 14" high by 20" wide would fit the height of the Modern Adirondack Rocking chair. This may be an obvious question, but does the black chair color get too hot to sit in when in direct sun?

Hi Bryan, That is an excellent question! Black does absorb more heat than the lighter colors. Our products are designed to disperse heat throughout the lumber, even if set out in direct sunlight. The back height seems lower on this then other chairs. I am only 5’3 and use to being able to lay my head back with room still left up top. With this chair the back stops at my neck. Are there other options or is this just the normal rocker height for your product?

If you like taller ones, I can suggest the Palm Coast Adirondack Rocking Chair which has a height of 37.75" or the Grant Park Traditional Curveback Adirondack Rocking Chair which has a height of 37.61". Hello mkp278, Thank you for reaching out to us about our Adirondack chairs. I just want to confirm if you are looking at the Modern Adirondack chair or the Modern Adirondack Rocking Chair. The Modern Adirondack chair's seat depth is 17.37 whereas the rocking chair is 17.7 inches deep. I know it is not much of a difference but wanted to make sure we were looking at the right product. In terms of our Adirondack chairs that is about average for seat depth of all of the styles we offer. Thanks -Jason

Hello Bonnie, The seat height of this chair is 15". I guess it would depend on how long your legs are, and if you mind your feet possibly not being on the ground flat. You can go to the Showroom locator on the website and put in your zip code. This will tell you where there are showrooms in your area, so that you can possibly sit in one in person. What is the weight limit?

This feels like a low sit - if 15" from the ground for the seat height, what is it from the ground at the lowest point? Is it hard to get in and out of?
