How hard or easy is it to assemble the table and the chairs and how long is it expected to take for a relatively novice assembler? I thought that the chairs came assembled and only the table needed to be assembled. I just received the chairs in small boxes today.

Up to what MPH wind gusts will the table and chairs (while folded) withstand before they start moving around a lot? We plan to use this set on the upper deck of our house down the street from the Sandwich canal which can get quite windy. I'm a little worried about the table since it is a solid piece whereas the table it's replacing I believe is cast iron so it's both heavy and vented to promote air flow.

Hi Carol, Thanks so much for reaching out to us! Our furniture is built to withstand all four seasons and a range of climates including hot sun, snowy winters, salt spray, and heavy winds. So you aren't required to store the furniture, but I do understand that helps keep it clean. The chairs for set (Nautical Highback Chairs) do fold for easier storage. The table doesn't fold or change for storage though (we don't have any dining tables that do) . If you would rather cover the furniture during the off-season, we recommend www.the-cover-store.com. The seats only measure 15.5" deep. Does anyone find them too short?

Polywood furniture will be no hotter than regular wooden furniture you may have outside. It will get warm, however, not so warm you cannot still enjoy it. Thank you for asking! Karen

Hello, Yes, this table does have an umbrella hole in it. I do apologize, it can be difficult to see from the angles of the picture but this table does.
