Reviews

VERY pleased

"Purchased the sand color. It looks fantastic with our limestone house. The sizing of the chairs is great for us. I'm 5' 2" while husband is 6'. Surprisingly, the chairs fit us both perfectly. He can even rest his head on the back of the chair. Also, the quality of the build is great."

Great purchase BIFL

"I ordered the navy blue to match accents on my home, and couldn't be happier with the color and quality of these chairs. They're exactly what we wanted on our porch."

Brian N. (5/5)

Love our chairs

"We are very happy w our new rockers. - definitely a two person assembly. - screw heads on provided screws strip easily w tools included. - vertical slats on one chair back not stapled into lower support. - the silver screw heads are very prominent. Maybe countersink and cover w a button?"

Ellen H. (4/5)

Not Happy!

"The YouTube demo does not represent the rocker I received. The email for help on the assembly instructions doesn’t exist. Once you get the correct customer service email you are given a case number and are told 2-3 days for assistance. Nothing works, the router holes are not appropriate for seat or back. Not the drill holes, the router holes. Totally dissatisfied with the Polywood Co."

Joy R. (1/5)

Q&A

How complicated is the assembly (how many pieces, etc.)
Hi Jeff, Most of our products can be assembled in less than 30 minutes. You can view assembly instructions on the chair's product page under the Product Details section, labeled Assembly Information. Thanks for asking! Lana
Is it difficult to keep white rockets white? Does pollen stain?
Hi Mary, The lighter colors will show dirt more than the darker colors, however we do offer care and maintenance tips to keep your furniture clean. Unlike real wood, it's easy to clean and will endure many types of harsh weather and environmental stressors. We do suggest that they are cared for properly and we would recommend to spot clean them periodically to avoid staining. We recommend _spot cleaning on a regular basis_. I will attach a link for our care and maintenance instructions below: https://www.polywood.com/care-maintenance I hope this helps! Thank you, Michelle
Is this one of the less upright styles of porch rockers that Polywood sells? If not, which are the less upright styles?
Hello B.H. Thank you for reaching out. That Nautical Porch Rocking Chair is one of our rockers that does have an upright style back to it. The rockers that do not have an upright back to them would be our Adirondack rockers. Thanks -Jason
Do you offer a military or first responders discount? How much will shipping run?
Hello Stacy, We do have a military discount and you would need to reach out at hello@polywood.com to request the coupon code be set up for you. We have free delivery in the contiguous US. If you have any other questions feel free to reach back out at Hello@polywood.com or (855) 935-5550 Mon-Fri 8am-7pm EST. Best wishes, Heather
What is the seat height for the Nautical rocker. I see on this diagram it is 17 inches you also stated that it was 15 inches on a comparison diagram for all the rockers. I was hoping it was a little shorter. I am only 5' 2''. Thank you
Hi Jackie, It looks like the comparison guide was fixed, as it now shows the correct seat height of 17" for the Nautical Porch Rocking Chair. You may have seen the Nautical Adirondack rocker, as that is 15" for a seat height. If you are looking for a traditional porch rocking chair, the one with the lowest seat height is 16.25". Those would be the Vineyard (R140) and the Braxton (R180). If you would like the Adirondack style rockers, there are three with the 15" seat height. The Nautical (ADR410), Vineyard (ADR400), and the Modern (ADR420) You can also use the showroom locator at the top right of the website to see if there are any showrooms in your area so that you can possibly sit in the chairs before adding to your POLYWOOD collection. I hope this helps, Mindy
What is the best way to screw in the screws that do not match the holes? I noticed one person say sand and hammer. Is that really the best way to assemble? Disappointing experience so far, since none of the holes match up! Looking for a YouTube video to help but don't want to ruin and not be able to get refunded. Please advise.
Hi there, Thanks so much for reaching out to us! We're sorry to hear that the holes aren't lining up correctly. The best course would be to reach out to us at hello@polywood.com to request new parts. This way, we'll create the new parts and send them out so that you don't have to make any modifications yourself. This helps ensure you won't have problems with structural integrity down the road. It's helpful to include photos of the areas that aren't right, along with your serial number or original order information, and your preferred shipping address. Warranty orders take precedence in our system and can usually ship within 1 - 3 business days, so you'll have the parts needed as soon as possible. All the best, Candace
Does a 20 x 20 seat cushion really fit the Nautical rocker?
Hi Laura, Collin was correct since we do recommend pairing the Seat Cushion - 20"D x 20"W x 2.5"H, SKU XPWS0007, with the Nautical Porch Rocking Chair. We don't have a cushion with the exact same dimensions as the seat of the chair, so this is the closest fit we have. Thanks for asking! Candace
What is the weight limit ?
Hello there, that is a great question. For our rockers we recommend a weight limit of 300-350lbs. Thank you for reaching out with your question. Best wishes, Collin.
I live in FL. Where can I go and actually sit in the rocker?
Hello there, that is a great question. You can use our showroom locator on our website to find the closest showroom that carries our product near you. You can access the showroom locator at https://www.polywood.com/showrooms. Thank you for your question, and I hope this response helps. Best wishes, Collin.
What is the weight limit?
Hi Dawn! Thanks so much for the great question! Each of our products is run through a variety of tests to comply with ASTM standards. Each seat on our benches are weight tested up to 400 lbs. Thanks again for reaching out to us! Stephanie
Is this the same material that is used in the Cracker Barrel Polywood rocker? The one at Cracker Barrell was comfortable but the "rock" wasn't smooth because the material of the chair wasn't smooth anywhere. It felt like i was rocking on small pebbles.
Hello, The same material is used for all of our furniture including models made exclusively for specific companies. The rock should be smooth for all of our rocking chairs due to how the rockers bottoms are made. Thank you for taking the time to ask! Ashley
What size (if any) of the seat cushions will fit this chair?
Hi Jennifer, We do make a seat cushion to fit the Nautical Porch Rocker, I have attached it below. Thank you for reaching out, Gina
Assembly instructions?
Hello, It looks like the assembly instructions aren't available on our website for this specific item. It will come in 8 larger part assemblies so they are easy to identify and won't take as long to build. For example, the seat, back, and both side frames are shipped fully assembled. You then need to just attach those four pieces with two braces and the two rocker bottoms. You will also receive the assembly instructions, the tools to build, and the hardware. Thank for asking! Ashley
