Will 8 chippendale dining arm chairs fit under the table when not in use

Hi Susan! Thank you for your question. The table's length is 97" and the Chippendale Dining Arm Chairs are 23.1" in width, so you can fit 3, but it may be tight. We recommend using the Dining Arm Chairs at the ends of the table and the Chippendale Dining Side Chairs for the remaining 6 seats on each side. Thank you, Amber

Would it work to have two 48” benches on one side of the table? I see the table is 97” long so 96 inches of bench fits, but curious if you all think it would look good or if I should stick to one 72” inch bench.

Hi Megan, Thank you for your inquiry. You could use two 48" benches if you like the aesthetic. We do not have a 72" dining bench in our product line, the largest backless bench we offer is 65". Thanks! Lana

What is the difference between the nautical and the farmhouse version of this table? They appear exactly the same in the photos on the website at least on my browser on my phone.

Hi Ben, Thanks for reaching out with that great question. The Farmhouse Trestle 38" x 96" Dining Table (SKU: PL84-T1L1) has a different size. There is also not a border on the table top, but just end pieces.  The Nautical Trestle 39" x 97" Dining Table (SKU: PL84-T2L1) is the larger of the two, and has a border around the table top slats.  The legs on the tables are the same. I hope this helps, Mindy
