Polywood Parsons dining table

"Love this table. I’m a retired lady & was able to put together by myself. Pretty easy with included tool. 4 long screws in each leg. Did need my kids to help carry it out to my balcony. Had already purchased the Polywood folding arm chairs from Costco. I live in a 6th floor condo & need heavy furniture since it’s so windy up here. Also have no place to store patio furniture so need something that can weather Chicago winters. This stuff is really sturdy."

Assembly isse

"I like the table. It is very solidly made. And I like the fact that is made by recyclable material. However, the assembly of the legs to the table it’s terrible. The pre-drilled holes did not lineup. We returned the first table and had another table sent to us and we had same issue. Only one leg aligned all 4 holes. I had to drill 2 new pilot holes in the frame in order to attach the remaining 3 legs"

Terrible Quality Control vs. other Polywood

"This Parsons table is a nice design in theory, and usual Polywood material quality – but the quality control on this item is like it is coming out of a different factory. I've bought for my home and assembled over 10 Polywood Adirondack chairs, 4 Side Tables, and 1 other dining table, no problems. This Parsons table was terrible: first table had missing screw holes in all 4 legs and a crooked metal part in the tabletop that rendered any leg impossible to fit in. Polywood Customer Service gets a 5/5 and replaced the table (I had to ship the 1st table back after receiving a replacement). But the REPLACEMENT tabletop was even worse than the 1st, with the underside support beams being over 1" off-center -- which threw off screw hole alignment, making this table impossible for any of the legs to be installed. I ended up taking a metal beam part off this new tabletop, to replace that part on my original tabletop. Then I used the new legs with proper # of screwholes per leg, and created a Frankenstein table, which is still just OK. I'm an interior designer so I look at a LOT of Parsons table designs. I normally love and respect everything Polywood makes, but this table design needs a real re-evaluation, and an inspection at the factory who manufactures this one."

"Material was solid, sturdy and seemed would last a long time. but overall assembly with matching holes to screw holes did not match up on legs and screws were visible. Quality control is non existent. Had to return the table."

Horrible service

"I ordered this table weeks ago to be shipped on or before May 16, it came a week late without one of the sets of legs, and we still do not have the missing legs. A CSR helped us when we first called but failed to ask which set of legs were missing, so we are still waiting."

Q&A

Can two of these be used together easily to form a larger rectangular dining table?
Hi Linda, Great question! Yes, you can put two of these tables side-by-side to seat more people. We also offer this table as a 38" x 72" - SKU# DT3872-T15. Thanks for asking! Lana
When will the Parsons tables be available in the vintage finishes?
Hi Cara, The Parsons 38" X 38" Dining Table is not available in the Vintage Finish at this time. However, I can definitely pass that on to our design teams for consideration.
