Parsons Bench

"This is my second purchase of Polywood product. It is built so well. Assembly was extremely easy. They look great. They were packaged well and not excessively. 5 Stars."

Screw holes do not match up

"I was excited to put together my bench this past weekend. First two legs so easy installed and then ……. The last two legs were impossible to install due to during the manufacturing process the bench holes and the leg holes do not line up."

Jennifer M. (2/5)

Beautiful and sturdy

"The design of the parson bench is perfect and sturdy for CO winters."

Michele W. (5/5)

Impossible to assemble due to holes being misaligned

"As the title states it was impossible to assemble the bench due to the pre-drilled holes being wildly misaligned. It does seem like it could be sturdy if it were possible to attach the legs. I am currently awaiting a replacement bench and am hoping the replacement does not have the same issue."

Brandi W. (1/5)

Perfect bench

"We bought the bench in two sizes to make a banquet corner, plus a few chairs and the matching table to make our own set that worked for our space. It looks great and comfortable!"

Keelin E. (5/5)

Bench seat

"Bench is perfect for kids and adults to eat at table and can easily be moved to other areas of the yard to enjoy conversation."

The bench legs are crooked.

"The bench legs are crooked. Polywood charged me $300 for white glove service, then mailed it to me in a box and the holed did not match up. Their customer service is terrible. DO NOT BUY!"

Shameful lack of quality control

"At $500+ a piece I’m not feeling too picky to think Polywood could take the time to clean up the flashing and torque down all the fasteners. I tried to torque those fasteners for you guys, but realized they can’t be because the crossbars they go into appear to be machined to the wrong dimensions or the thru holes mis-drilled or who knows, but it’s not my job to build the top part of this bench for you. I’m guessing all the pieces not be fastened together doesn’t do good things for the safety/load carrying capacity of the bench. It doesn’t help that I have the exact same bench bought a few years ago that has none of these issues. I tried test fitting the legs. I will say the holes lined up fine, fasteners went in on 2, another took some motivation, the 4th one, not a chance, holes are . 5” off center or more. 3 out of the 4. All this reminds me, 1 of the 6 chairs I gave you guys over $5k for a few years ago had shoddy workmanship too, but I let it slide which I obviously now regret. If you’re going to charge nosebleed prices for this stuff, the quality has. to. be. impeccable. Get your shop in order and get it right the first time. The bench will be on its way back to you real soon."

Awfully assembled

"Not put together correctly and to corrected myself 3 times. Customer service did respond timely but the price I was not expecting to have this issues"

Nelson U. (1/5)

Great bench!

"Love this bench! Perfect for kids, super sturdy and was very easy to assemble. Literally had to screw on the 4 legs, that’s all!"

Q&A

Does the 60 Parsons bench slide under the 72 inch parsons table?
Hi Florida, Great question! The Parsons 60" Bench will fit under the Parsons 38" x 72" Dining Table, with approximately 5" of total clearance between the bench legs and the table legs. I hope this is helpful! Best, Hannah
Which cushion sku number fits this parsons bench of 60 inches long and 15 inches deep? I do not see any 14 or 15 inch deep cushions that are close to 60 inches long. I only see cushions that are 17.5 inches deep
Hello Thomas, I apologize, we do not have cushions for the backless benches, as there would be no way to tie the cushion on. Thanks for asking, Mindy
Can this bench go fully under the parson 64 inch table? Or will it NOT fit under it lenght wise?
Hi Luis, Great question! The Parsons Bench is 60" long and the Parsons Table has 57.25" of space between the legs, so the bench will not fit perfectly under the table lengthwise. Thanks, Lana
What is weight capacity for seating
Hello Denise, This bench has been weight tested to hold up to 250 pounds per seat, with a seating area for 3 people. Thanks for asking, Mindy
What is the clearance of the bench, i.e. from the ground to the first/lowest edge under the seat? I’m trying to find something that can fit flush against the wall above an outlet box. Thanks!
Hello Amanda, There are 13.790 inches from the ground to the lip that is under the bench seat. ![](https://polywoodinc.zendesk.com/attachments/token/KeiMBV90QxTqhTyDF5Xqnvrl5/?name=image.png) Thanks for asking, Mindy
What are the width measurements of the legs? How does this pair with the 64" Parsons Table?
Hi Ashley, The Parsons 60" Bench legs measure 3" x 3" x 16.25" (DBN60). This bench pairs with our 64" Parsons Table (DT3872-T15). The bench and table are complement one another and are paired together in many of our sets. We hope you find the perfect dining combination for your space! Thanks for asking, Brooke
