Can you please provide the measurement between the legs of the table on the long side? I know the table is 75 inches long, but how much space is there between the legs? And when two people are sitting at the table on the long side, do the legs get in the way/knock against the legs of the chairs? Or can both chairs comfortably clear the legs of the table, while maintaining some space between the two chairs, on the long side of the table?

Hello Jen, Great questions! The distance between the legs on the long side of the Rustic Farmhouse 39" x 75" Dining Table is 48 inches. This allows two people to sit comfortably on that side without the table legs getting in the way. Most of the side dining chairs on the POLYWOOD website will fit between the legs with enough room to sit side by side while still leaving a bit of space between them. While some wider chairs won't fit completely between the legs, they can still be used with the table. They’ll simply extend slightly beyond the leg openings, which still provides a comfortable dining experience. Thank you for asking! Best, Emma

Hi Cory, Great questions! This table ships in 1 box and the box weighs 177 lbs. We offer curbside delivery only for our freight deliveries. We expect to continue to manufacture this table next year, and there is a possibility of a price increase after the new year, but we do not have confirmation of that yet. Is the color Teak the same as Costco brown Adirondack chairs? I know mahogany is not the same brown.

Are the legs of the table polywood? I saw a table at the beach that I thought was polywood brand but the legs were metal. We need to leave this outside all year. We have a round counter height and those legs are polywood.

I am looking for a couple of things. One thing is the measurement from leg to leg on the INSIDE of the legs (both on the width side and the length side). We have pavers and I'm trying to make sure it will fit and not end up in the grass between the pavers (the pavers are huge and set so can't move them, and there is a 6" space in between, so I have to be somewhat precise in placement). Am also looking for which benches go with this table. It's not under the Perfect Pairings on the web page, but it looks like many people have benches. Thanks!

Hello Briana, Thanks for reaching out! I'll put a screenshot below, but the legs are 52 inches from the outside of one leg to the other. They are 48 inches from the inside of one leg to the inside of the other. This is on the length side.  On the width side, from the outside of one leg to the other is 37.397 inches. From the inside of one leg to the other is 29.3 inches. What is the overhang on the sides, in comparison to how far the legs stick out? I'm wondering if, when paired with the rustic farmhouse backless bench, does the bench tuck under the table at all? It appears in the photos that the legs are the same width of the table and the bench would not tuck under.

Hi there, Brooke! The overhang for the sides (width) of the table is only about 1" in clearance, while the space in-between the legs is about 48" in length. You should be able to slide two 48" backless benches under the table on either side, but not a longer backless bench. Best wishes, Jay C.

Is the table foldable (i.e. can the legs fold in for easy storage)?

I'm please to hear you want to take such good care of your furniture, but POLYWOOD is built to last with enduring materials ready to weather the elements. Our all-weather material is built to withstand all four seasons and a range of climates including hot sun, snowy winters, salt spray, and heavy winds. If you are unable to put it in storage for those winter months, you can cover it to help protect it and mean less cleaning when you are ready to use it during those warmer months. Hi Avery! That is a great question! The largest dining sets we have can seat up to 8 people. However, the Vineyard 9-Piece Farmhouse Trestle Dining Set is a great option for you! If you were to get two of these sets and put the tables together, it would not only look great, but it would also comfortably fit 12 people! The design of the table tops will camouflage that it is really two tables instead of one! Also, if you use the Rustic Farmhouse 60" Backless Bench on either end instead of chairs, you could easily seat 3 children on each bench. This would increase your overall seating to 14! Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to us! Generally if you feel fine sitting outside in full, direct sunlight then the material will be warm, but comfortable enough for you to use. The darker colors will absorb more heat than the lighter ones, but none will get so hot that they would burn you. We also include UV inhibitors in our material to mitigate the effects of the sun.
