Looking for cushions for my slate grey chaise lounges. Can you recommend a color that blends the best with that chaise? Is the sky blue as bright as it looks in the picture. Looking for something more subtle.

Hi, What keeps the cushions from slipping? Are they held in place by the arms? From my experience, ties don’t typically do the trick. What warranty do you offer on the metal bar in the back? When it rusts, is that part replaceable?

Hardware used in production or assembly of POLYWOOD furniture is warranted to not break for five (5) years of residential use. Hi, What materials are the wheels made of and do you sell replacement wheels if needed?

Hi Lauren, The wheels are made of the same material as the chairs, high-density polyethylene (_HDPE_). There is a rubber gasket in the center of the wheels. We do sell replacement parts if anything would need to be replaced outside of warranty. Thanks, Lana

Does it lay flat

What kind of refinishing may be required of the Mahogany compared to the Vintage Coffee color/finish if these chairs are to be used in the hot sun elements of Phoenix, AZ? I am looking for patio furniture that can withstand the heat with minimal maintenance. Thank you.

Hi JS, Thank you for your inquiry! There is no difference between our Classic and Vintage finishes in terms of maintenance. The color you see on the surface of genuine POLYWOOD lumber runs throughout the material—it's not a veneer. Before our high-density polyethylene plastic and other sustainable materials are pelletized and extruded into lumber, we blend in light-stable pigments with UV inhibitors and stabilizers. This results in fade-resistant colors that look as good as new, even after years of sun, rain, and use. **NOTE:** Prolonged sun exposure can cause fading in any material. To ensure long-lasting color for your furniture, we recommend storing your items when you’re not using them or protecting them with durable covers. Thanks! Lana

What is the different between the Mahogany color and the Vintage Coffee color? Does the Mahogany show some red in it when it is in the sun?

Hi JS, Thank you for your inquiry! The Mahogany and Vintage Coffee are colors from different lumber profiles. Mahogany is darker than the Vintage Coffee and does not pull red in the sun. Vintage Coffee is part of the Designer Series lumber profile, inspired by wire-brush textures, our Vintage Finish evokes the richness and character of matte-painted wood but doesn’t require refinishing after exposure to the elements. Hello--What is the difference between the Signature and Captain chaise lounges? Thank you!

Hello KG, Thank you for reaching out to us about our products. There are a few differences between our Signature and Captain Chaise loungers. With our Signature Loungers, this one comes with arms and wheels and has a thinner lumber profile. The Captain chaise lounger is a simpler design as it does not have the arms or wheels on the back legs and has a thicker lumber profile and its a more square look to it. Thanks -Jason

Is there a different chaise cushion for the signature chaise since it has a flat top vs. the nautical curved top. Do you have pictures of the back of the signature chaise with cushions on them?

Is the color Midnight Linen a black fabric? I can't tell exactly from the photo. Also, a shameless plug for you to add the classic (and popular!) black and white cabana stripe to your fabric options!

Hello Dani, Thank you for your interest in our products. We will certainly pass the feedback along about just having a classic black fabric color. Our Midnight Linen is actually a dark blueish purple so when in a more shaded area it will look black whereas if in a well-lit or bright and sunny spot, it will give a sort of deep blue/purple look to it. We want a thickercushion, 5". The seat cushion is46" and the upper back is 28", totalling 74". Would that work? We are old and need something higher off the ground to be able to get up more easily. Do you have another solution to our problem?

Hi Nancy, I apologize, but the chaise cushion we sell is only 2.5" thick. I can certainly pass your recommendation on to our design team, but at this time we do not have chaise cushions that thick. If you like POLYWOOD, but need thick cushions and items higher off the ground, I would recommend the Deep Seating furniture. Each piece comes with cushions that are quite thick. Wondering why this chaise lounge style is 50% more than the Nautical line. Are they made differently?

It also has parts that require extra steps to complete, like the curved armrests for instance. All of this, along with other factors are included when the pricing is being configured.
