59x59 table....what's the difference between the Nautical and the Traditional Farm. They look the same

Why don’t any of your tables have a hole for an umbrella?

Hello Terri, With most of our tables they certainly do come with an Umbrella hole. I apologize it is hard to tell from the photos as the photo shows the table with the umbrella plug in it. The best way to check if a table has an umbrella hole is under the features section of the product or set it will show there if an umbrella hole is included. Thanks -Jason

Hi, I tried the live chat but the virtual asst couldn't answer. I think that was sending this but I had two additional questions so I'll send all three. 1. Can the traditional garden 9 pc trestle dining set be used without seat cushions? I would prefer not to use them but wondering if the chairs are comfortable and/or made to use without cushions. 2. How much weight is each chair made to hold? As in what is the max weight of a person that should use the chair? 3. I am looking at the Slate Gray set. Our dining style chairs are designed to be able to sit in without needing a cushion. All of our products are put through standard ASTM testing and the chairs are tested to hold up to 400+ pounds and have been seen to hold more. The lead time for our items is always subject to change and we can only ever offer an estimated ship out date as delivery can vary based on the carrier and issues they may run into. Thanks -Jason

Are the chairs stackable?

Hello Katie, The Traditional Garden Dining Side Chairs that are included in this set are not stackable. We do not have any dining option that is stackable. Our furniture is made to withstand all weather, and while we suggest covering or storing to help keep it clean, it can be left out all year. Thanks for asking, Mindy

Do these chairs stack? We live in hurricane country and are looking for a set that stack as it makes it easier when lashing to post.

Will these chairs scratch a capped polymer (Azek) deck when moving around ?

Why is the white color more expensive?

Colors such as white and other vibrant colors (for other products), are are more expensive because the extrusion processes for these are longer than darker colors. This set would go next to a pool which gets direct sun all day. Is this cool to the touch? I would hate for anyone to burn their assets. Thinking of going with the black.

Hi Beth, Thanks for reaching out! Generally if you feel fine sitting outside in full, direct sunlight then the material will be warm, but comfortable enough for you to use. The darker colors will absorb more heat than the lighter ones, but none of them should burn your guests. All the best, Candace

Does this set come with a pre-drilled hole in the center for an umbrella? Know I would need to purchase one separately, but is the hole already there or will I end up damaging the table?

Hello Eric, that is an excellent question. This table is going to come with a predrilled umbrella hole. In order to get the hole cap out it is going to be easiest if you push up from underneath the table on the cap. I don't understand the minimum space requirements. Since it is square, why is more space required widthwise (153") than lengthwise (119")? I need a set to fit in a 120" square.

Hi Jan Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I think 119" each way would be fine. The table is about 60" and each chair is about 22" so if you had them pulled out to the edge of the table you would only need 104" of space. So having 119" gives you room to pull the chairs out enough to sit down. Thanks for asking! Karen

How much distance is there from the edge of the 59" table to the trestle holing up the table? I am trying to understand how much leg room exists when seated and pulled up close to the table to eat. Thank you!

Hi John, Great question! The distance from the edge of the tabletop to the trestle-style base is about 14.5 inches. This is the measurement from the middle of the table's edge to bottom of the base. Hi, has anyone found the cross supports for the legs to be longer than the width of the legs? mine measure 27 1/8" but the distance between the legs where the attach to the table is 26 3/8". This is causing the legs to splay outward when the cross member is installed.
