Perfect addition to my firepit

"Just ordered 4 of these to place around a firepit at my farm. Very comfortable and a great addition for enjoying an evening around a fie."

"great quality. Exact match for chairs from another store but not as expensive!"

Sandra W. (5/5)

Make your neighbors jealous!

"We recently purchased two of the Quattro Adirondack chairs and they are proudly on our front patio. The chairs were simple to assemble and they look fantastic. The chairs are particularly useful in supporting fall afternoon naps. We are very happy with our chairs."

Folding style looks great, feels not so sturdy

"I bought four Quattro Folding Adirondacks in black. I didn't want a folding chair but this style did not come any other way, and it had the specs we wanted. The folding capability definitely makes the chair feel less sturdy in that the arms/sides flair/move more than I like. There was a quality control issue with the front brace on two chairs. The holes at the ends did not line up with the holes in the side slots they needed to fit into, forcing me to contact the company for replacement parts before I could continue with assembly. The holes should have been centered in the ends to work, and better quality control should have spotted the problem with the pieces they packed and shipped. Polywood did ship out new pieces within 48 hours, but the delay to finishing assembly was inconvenient and aggravating. Overall, I like the look and comfort of the chairs very much."

Great chairs with benefits

"All in all, I’m a really big fan of these Adirondack chairs. Love the fact that I can easily fold them up and store them during the winter. Also love the fact that the design is continually tweaked to improve upon it. I currently have six, and I’ve noticed that the last few that I purchased had a slightly different design, which is a little bit more structurally sound. One negative however is that the arms do bow out a little bit when left in the sun."

The Adirondack chairs were very

"The Adirondack chairs were very easy to assemple compared to ones I've put together from other companies. They appear to be very sturdy."

Timothy M. (5/5)

Fantastic chairs

"These chairs are fantastic! The seat height and seat back angle and curve fit my wife and I perfectly, almost like they were custom made. One suggestion, label the shipping boxes as HEAVY because both of our chairs had been dropped at some point along the way during shipping. There was no apparent damage to the chairs, so far. Just hoping there is no unseen cracks or stress fractures."

Steven B. (5/5)

Odd packaging choice for a quality product

"The chairs themselves are quite nice - the packaging seemed ill-suited to the Fed Ex journey - when they arrived there were holes in the boxes and the screw holding arm in one had bent and become detached. Essentially the box was too big and the product was knocked around. Seems like an easy fix."

Edward M. (4/5)

Great chairs, but with 1 factory assembly defect.

"We are long-time fans of Polywood, though on our last order, one of 2 chairs appeared to have a factory assembly-defect as the wedge/support-piece set beneath the armrest was set too high, resulting in separation of the arm rest. We re-set the wedge & re-attached the armrest, so; all good. -just thought you’d like to know. Thank you!"

Q&A

What are the dimensions & weight of the box the item is shipped in?
Hi Nena, Thank you for reaching out with your question! Here are the dimensions and weight of the boxes that the Quattro Folding Adirondack Chair is shipped in: 47" L x 30" W x 11" H and the weight of the box is 40 pounds. I hope this information is helpful. Thank you, Michelle
How close can the chairs be to a Solo stainless steel smokeless fire pit? Is there a recommended distance from the fire pit? How hot can the chairs get before melting or becoming disfigured?
Hello Christy, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your concerns about our POLYWOOD furniture and fire pits. While we cannot provide you with a definitive distance to keep our furniture away from a fire pit like a Solo Stove, we do recommend paying careful attention to the size of the stove and flame being emitted from the stove so that a safe distance is kept between both products. This will help ensure that sparks and high heat are not adversely affecting the POLYWOOD plastic lumber. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. We're always here to help! Thank you, Mindy
Looking for Purple?
Hi Mike, Thank you for reaching out with your question! We do not have purple as a color option for our POLYWOOD furniture at this time, however I can definitely pass that on to our design teams for consideration. do the dark colors - like mahogany - absorb heat and become too hot to seat on in the summer time? thank you!
Hello Alina, Anything that is a darker color and is left in the direct sun for an extended amount of time will become warmer. Our furniture should not become too hot to be able to sit in. A good rule of thumb, is if the weather is nice enough for you to be outside comfortably, it will be nice for your furniture as well. Thanks for asking, Mindy
What is the height of the back?
Hello Carla, Thank you for reaching out. The back on our Quattro Folding Adirondack is 28.966" from seat to top of the back the distance from the ground to the top of the back assembly is 37.385" Beat wishes, Heather

Hello, I am considering the gray colored chairs for our firepit, however I know after sitting in someone else's poly chair that dark colors can get very hot in the summer. Anyone have the gray one? And would you say it gets too hot to sit in sometimes?
Hi Candace! The furniture will absorb some of the heat from the sun but it should never be too hot to the touch to use. Thank you for the great question! Kaitlyn
