Easy does it. Our patio furniture will always look as good as new with very little effort. It doesn’t need to be brought inside during inclement weather and cleans quickly and easily with soapy water and a soft-bristle brush.

Bench Sizing 101
Our backless benches are available in multiple lengths that range from 48–60 inches. If pairing one with an outdoor dining table, first measure the table's dimensions. The bench should be 6–12 inches smaller than the table's length. Make sure you have at least 16–24 inches between your tabletop and the bench so everyone can scoot in or out as needed.
You have a bit more design flexibility with a freestanding patio bench. Once you decide where it would fit best (and afford the best vantage point), you'll just want to confirm there's a foot of wiggle room on all four sides.

What is the weight capacity of POLYWOOD backless benches?
All POLYWOOD furniture is tested to an ASTM standard of up to 400 pounds per seat, and our backless benches typically seat between 2–4 people.
Do your backless benches tip over easily?
They do not tip over easily, thanks to their sturdy structure and 45–75 pounds of weight, making them highly suitable for outdoor use.
Do you have cushions for your backless benches?
We don't offer cushions for this seating style at the moment, but several of our backless benches feature contoured seats that make them a comfortable place to sit. Alternatively, our backed benches have the option to add a seat cushion.
Will you carry backless benches in nautical colors like blue?
Our backless benches are available in many of our best-selling colors. As of right now, we don’t plan on adding blue or other vibrant-hued backless benches to our assortment.
