Outdoor Chaise Lounge Chair Colors

Our outdoor chaise lounges are offered in a variety of beautiful colors that will enhance the ambiance of any outdoor space. With our attractive outdoor chaises, your outdoor living area can become a posh place of respite for your loved ones. You can place a bright white chaise lounge by your pool, a few sleek black chaise lounges on your rooftop terrace, or a couple of calming grey chaise lounges on your back deck.

To ensure the colors always remain vibrant and rich, we mix UV-inhibited pigment systems with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic during the recycling process for our genuine POLYWOOD lumber. This way, the color is blended throughout the lumber, not just on its exterior.

Why POLYWOOD?

When you purchase an outdoor chaise lounge from POLYWOOD, you’re showing everyone who spends time in your outdoor space that quality and comfort matter to you. Our beautiful outdoor chaises will enhance the look of your patio, deck, or porch for years to come—no matter what the size of your space is, what climate you live in, or what your style preferences are.

“Not too heavy, easy to clean, easy to reposition on gravel decking, very comfortable”

- Heather W. A.

FAQs
What is a chaise lounge?
A chaise lounge is a type of daybed with an adjustable raised headrest at one end. The chaise lounge was made popular by the French in the 16th century. There are varying styles of chaise lounges including the récamier, the méridienne, the duchesse, and the dormeuse.
Why is it called a chaise lounge?
Literally translated from French to English, the term “chaise lounge” means “long chair."
Do chaise lounges get hot when exposed to direct sunlight?
Our outdoor chaise lounges that come in darker colors will absorb more heat than lighter colors will, but our general rule of thumb is that if the weather is pleasant enough for you to be comfortable sitting outside, then our furniture will be fine to relax in.
Can POLYWOOD chaise lounges be used on Baja shelves in swimming pools?
Yes, but it is not recommended that outdoor chaise lounges sit on a Baja step in a pool permanently. The chemicals in the water could damage the hardware, which impacts the integrity of the product. If you want, you can put them on the Baja step when you want to use them and take them out when you're finished. Be sure to rinse the chaise lounges with fresh water afterward.
What are chaise lounges used for?
Chaise lounges were created specifically for rest and relaxation. Our POLYWOOD chaise lounges allow you to relax anywhere you want in your outdoor space.
How do you style a chaise lounge?
You can style your outdoor chaise lounge however you’d like in your outdoor living area. It all depends on your taste preferences and the size of your space. If you have a larger space, you could fill it with one of our chaise lounge sets. For pops of color and extra comfort, add outdoor cushions and pillows in complementing hues to your chaise lounges.
Do POLYWOOD chaise lounges recline?
Yes! The backs of our reclining chaise lounges can be adjusted to multiple positions so you can sit upright or lie completely flat.

“This is our 16th piece of polywood and that speaks for itself! Absolutely the best answer to outdoor furniture durability, no maintenance, no fuss when weather, no repainting or refinishing, looks spectacular.”
