I would like to use this in a mud room - can you tell me what height of storage bin would be able to fit underneath the seat ? Or in other words the ground clearance underneath the bench ? I assume the seat of the bench is several inches think ? Thank you

what's the difference between the traditional & the vineyard 48" garden benches??

Hi Mary, Thank you for your question! The biggest difference is the small detail under the seat that you will see on the Vineyard bench that you won't see on the Traditional Garden Bench. Is the color guaranteed not to fade. Using it year round in direct sun

Hello Michele, POLYWOOD lumber is made with UV-stabilizers to minimize fading; however, upon exposure to the sun, all colors will fade to some degree. To minimize possible fading: keep product covered, utilize cushions where applicable, minimize direct sunlight by storing product when not in use, or use a UV-protectant. Thanks, Mindy

I own a Vineyard bench that I bought in 2023. The slat in the back of the bench have popped out of the groves in the bottom beam of the back piece. How do I get them back into their slots and how do I keep them there? Can I use Gorilla Glue?

bolt E that is part of the back of bench that feeds into a steel rode will not thread into the female part. it will thread about 3/8 inch and stop. Is this wrong are is it the wrong bolt. It acts as if it was not tapped for enough. what should I do?

Hi Linda, Thank you for your question! Currently, POLYWOOD doesn't provide custom plaques or engraving services. Attaching plaques to our furniture won't void the warranty for the entire item. However, the specific component the plaque is connected to will be exempt from the warranty due to using screws or adhesives to modify the part. The Vineyard 48” Bench just arrived & comes with 4 triangular gussets that you have to drill holes in legs to attach. Question: why 4 as looks like only 2 places in front to attach, and are they necessary to install for stability? In other words, can we leave them off altogether?

Hello- Would you be able to put a plaque at the top of the bench in order to have the bench be in memory of someone? Do you offer these plaques? Would you recommend drilling into the polywood or glueing the plaque to the bench?

Hello Caitlin, Yes, you can add a memorial plaque to our benches. We would not recommend glue or adhesive, as it will not stick to the poly lumber material of our furniture. We do not have plaques, but you can look in your area for a company that can provide them.
