FAQs
You can use your furniture on the shallow ledge of a pool, but we recommend removing it from chemically treated water as soon as you’re done using it and rinsing the lumber and hardware with fresh water right away.
Thanks to the inherent durability of HDPE and our Color-Stay Technology, POLYWOOD will stay strong and vibrant even after years of direct sun exposure. In terms of heat retention, our lighter lumber colors don’t absorb as much as our darker lumber colors do when exposed to direct sunlight.
Our furniture is not designed for use in a pool. While this is a personal choice, we do not recommend leaving pieces directly into pools, as sustained exposure to chlorine can damage the hardware.
The most common poolside chair is called a chaise lounge. This outdoor furniture is designed with an angled (often adjustable) back and a seat long enough to stretch out your legs.
