Beautiful set, comfortable, a few flaws and cushions are not water resistant

"Ordered several pieces in the black with weathered tweed cushions. Love the color options, the combination I chose, the cushions are very comfortable and the frame is very solid and sturdy. Hoping this will last for many years to come. I especially like that the sectional comes apart so that we can reposition as needed. I paid for the white glove delivery and assembly. They did not make our first appointment, which was extremely frustrating since we planned our Saturday around them, but the team that did end up coming the following Tuesday was very professional and courteous. Assembly was much easier than I expected and I should have put it together myself. A few of the pieces that were already assembled, were crooked and one of the pieces has a screw coming through the front. That was disappointing to see, considering the price. The cushions are NOT water resistant, they are like a sponge. Luckily our set is on a covered patio. They are however much more comfortable than your standard patio cushions. Overall happy with our purchase."

Great set!

"I really do love this set. I know others have had issues with cushions and upon reading that we made sure to buy high quality covers from The Coverstore and we keep them covered at all times when not using. So far we haven't had any issues with the cushions molding or mildewing. We do often flip them and rotate them to keep them from wearing and we have had great success with that and they still look brand new! We always look at the weather and fold the covers over the back and when we are done in the evening we recover them. They have stayed out now through 2 summers and 2 Winters and so far so good! This is a really comfortable set and we enjoy entertaining with it. Really our only issue has been the cushions sliding around and literally sliding off the seats and out of the end of the arms. If there was just even a slight lip there or if the arm sides were enclosed this would definitely be five stars for me. I'm still glad I bought it and we still recommend Polywood to all our friends just not this particular set unfortunately. Again I highly do recommend their products. We also have a 4 chair set and a fire pit from them and all are wonderful and clean up and care is so easy!"

"Bought many things for our screened in porch and front porch including the Edge modular, the Braxton Swivel and Parsons dining set along with Presidential rockers. All came perfectly packaged with all necessary pieces and assembled relatively easily. Just need a little muscle and some patience. But all guide holes were perfectly set and with the exception of the rockers, were easily assembled solo (rockers were done solo too, but needed a bit more dexterity). We’re thrilled with everything."

"So cozy! This really is a great product! Easy to assemble myself. The hardest part was just getting each box to the yard because they are heavy. But they fit in our wheelbarrow for transport. The fabric is low maintenance and cleans easy. It’s soft, not plastic/vinyl/sticky. Very good quality! It’s the closest thing to having a couch outdoors. We live in a small house in Ohio so we get all four seasons and we minimal storage space. So everything stays outside. I did buy a cover on Amazon for it just to protect during winter and from our wildlife. Our squirrels are not to be trusted."

Do the seat and back cushions have ties to hold them securely in place?

What gives the cushions water resistance? Is it a coating?
Hi Katrie, Great question! Our pillows and cushions are made with a thick and resilient blended polyester fiber fill. We upholster our cushions and pillows with Revolution Performance fabrics which are resistant to salt, sun, mold, and mildew and made of polypropylene. Its wax coating causes dew/drizzle to bead up so it can easily be wiped off. Heavier rain passes through but the fabric dries fairly quickly. All POLYWOOD pillows and cushions are hand-sewn and made in the USA. Thanks for asking! Lana
Are the cushions WATERPROOF not just resistant?

Do the cushion covers include zippers so that you can take the covers off to wash them? We love dune burlap but worried about stains.
Hello Anna, That is a great question! There are zippers, but the covers on our cushions are not meant to be removed. The zippers are there for when the cushions are made and filled. Cleaning the cushions is easy. You can brush off loose debris, or use a vacuum to remove it as well. The fabric can also be cleaned with dish soap, warm water and a washcloth, standing the cushions on their sides when finished, to allow for quick drying. What is the height of the arms on the arm chairs from the floor?
Hello Lorna, There are many differences between the separate styles of Adirondack chairs. The design will be a main difference, with all the chairs having a different style back rest. The Vineyard and the Nautical come in both a curveback version and a regular flat back version, while the Classic only comes in the flat back version. Unless you choose the Oversized Classic, which has a slightly contoured back, but not as much a curveback. Here are the dimensions for each chair as well.
