I can't seem to find a picture showing the difference between the trestle base and the pedestal base. Can you show me the difference, with measurements? Thanks.

FDT37 / Pedestal Base Distance between legs (above foot): 8" Distance between legs (above cross-brace): 15.5" Distance from floor to bottom of cross-brace: 12.2" PL81-T1L1 / Trestle Base Distance between legs (above foot): 5.875" Distance between legs (above cross-brace): 16" Distance from floor to bottom of cross-brace: 14.5"

How far apart are the legs on the table? Looking to fit an umbrella base to hold an umbrella. Need to know how much room is available. Thank you

Hi Christine, Great question! The distance from the inside of one foot to the inside of the other is about 16". The base that's included with our umbrella has a diameter of 19" but it's tapered at the edges so that it fits under the arches in the table feet. So if you're looking at a base that is thicker at the bottom, you'll want to be sure it's less than 16" in diameter. Thanks, Lana

I a trying to figure out if you can sit at these tables without your knees hitting the legs of the table - same question for both the 48 round and the 37 inch trestle .

Hello Bruce, All of the available colors for an item will be listed where you can select your POLYWOOD color. Tables are not available in Navy, Lime, or any of our vibrant colors. What is the difference between this table and SKU#: FDT37?

Hey Lee-Anne, That is a great question. With these tables the PL81-T1L1 has a thicker legs and feet and the brace is higher up on the table. Where as FDT37 has not as thick of legs and feet and the braces are located higher up. Thanks -Jason

Will the coastal collection dining chairs work with this table? How far will you be able to push them in? Will the arms go under the table?

Hello Kay, Thank you for your interest in our dining furniture. With our dining height options, we do make the heights all very similar so you can mix and match them as you want so the Coastal Dining chair would work. The arms would fit under the table and if pushed in would push in about half way due to placement of the legs. Thanks -Jason

How are the tabletop boards secured to the frame. I see screws going through the frame into the boards. Being the boards are only .75" thick is there also some kind of glue used?

Can two people sit on each side of the table?

Hello Natalie, Thank you for reaching out about our Farmhouse Trestle 37" Dining Table. You could fit 2 of our la casa dining side chairs per side, but it will be tight. They measure in at 17" wide and there is a little over 18" per person if you put 2 per side. Best Wishes, Heather

is assembly required/ do you discount for a bussiness with multiple pieces

Hi Marcy, Yes, some assembly is required. If you scroll down past the product details and click on assembly instructions, you will see the exact assembly that is necessary for each piece of furniture. The Farmhouse Trestle 37" Dining Table comes with a table top, leg assemblies and braces. You would have to attach the legs and braces to the table top. We do not offer any discounts for order with multiple pieces. If you are a business, you may qualify for a Business to Business or Trade account. Could two of the farmhouse trestle tables be put together to make one large table? Would they fit flush? I live alone and have a patio and a deck....I'd like to use one in each space but have the option of putting them together when entertaining. Thanks in advance for any help.

Can you start making this an extension table with an optional insert? I bet many customers would buy the insert. It looks like it wouldn't take much. It is great for cards but need a bit larger for dining.

What holds it together. What is hardware made of? Does warranty cover hardware? How long is hardware warranty?

Hi Lou, Hardware used in production or assembly of POLYWOOD furniture is warranted to not break for five (5) years of residential use. All POLYWOOD hardware is 18-8 stainless steel with an AlloChrome 3200+™ finish and cosmetic coating. Although the quality of our hardware has a high level of corrosive resistance, it can show some sign of corrosion in salt air environments Mother nature can be brutal. If you're looking to go the extra mile to protect hardware with signs of corrosion, you can apply a color-appropriate appliance touch up paint (available at your local hardware store). Thanks Lou!
