We have a lake home

"We have a lake home on the water and placed this table on our dock. It is sturdy and heavy enough to sustain the wind and elements. We purchased the slate gray color which hides dirt well and can be left out all year. This is actually our second polywood table. Our first was this identical table but the smaller version and we ended up needing a larger table. A neighbor was delighted to get our prior table which even after a few years still looked brand new. Highly recommend as it’s a quality of product that will last a long time."

What is the height of the table and what height chairs should be purchased?
Hello Ellen, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in our Farmhouse Trestle 37" by 72" Bar table. The height of this table is 42". With our all of our bar tables and chairs they are all built to the same sizes so you can mix and match the items to your liking. So any bar height chair will work with this table. Thanks -Jason
What is the design difference between the Farm House trestle table and the Nautical trestle table? They look the same other than minor measurement adjustments.
Hi Kathy, Great question! These 2 tables are very similar in design. The Nautical Trestle 38" x 73" Bar Table has a frame outlining the table top, whereas the Farmhouse Trestle 37" x 72" Bar Table does not contain a frame. Hope this answered your question. Thank you, Michelle
Is this table big enough to seat 8?
Hi Les, That is a great question! The Farmhouse Trestle 37" x 72" Bar Table is 72" long, so technically you can fit 3 of some of our chairs along it, but your guests would be very cramped. We do have 9 piece sets, that come with a square table, or our longer rectangular dining table. would the arms of the coastal bar chairs fit under this table?
Hi Kate, Thanks for reaching out! Yes, you could slide the Coastal Bar Chairs up under the table. The armrests are about 38"from the ground while the clearance to the underside of the table top is 39". We've designed all of our bar height chairs to work with any of our bar height tables. Hi There! We test our furniture to ASTM standards for residential and commercial use. Residential rates for up to 300lbs and commercial rates for up to 400lbs.
