Will 3 Vineyard dining chairs with arms fit fully under the long side of this farmhouse trestle table? Can I push them all the way under the table? (I tried to push 2 Vineyard dining arm chairs under the shorter farmhouse table without trestle legs at a display room and was unable to fit them all the way under because of that table’s legs.) I would like to buy 8 Vineyard dining arm chairs to go with this table instead of the 9-piece set with the armless chairs.

Three Vineyard dining chairs with arms can fit on each side of the 38 x 96 table, but will not be able to fully fit all the way under because of the location of the feet. What is the difference between Farmhouse and Nautical. They look identical.

Would it damage the integrity of the table by increasing the umbrella hole size to accomodate an 11 foot umbrella?

How does the black hold up with pollen? We have a wooded back yard and really need something durable and easy to clean. Is it better to go with grey vs. Black for cleaning purposes? Also have there been reports of this table warping?

Hi Melissa, Great questions! Our POLYWOOD furniture can be cleaned the following way: First, Remove loose dirt and debris with the vacuum. 1. Mix the dish soap and warm water in the bucket. 2. (Optional step) To clean and sanitize, pour in a bit of bleach. We recommend 1 part bleach to 2 parts water. 3. Apply the soapy water to the lumber and let it sit for a few minutes. 4. Use the brush or cloth to scrub the surfaces and loosen dirt or debris. 5. Rinse with clean water and let your furniture air-dry. Alternatively, you can also pressure wash POLYWOOD furniture with a pressure washer (rated no higher than 1,500 psi) equipped with a 40-degree fan tip. Our products are warrantied against warping, cracking, and splintering. Thanks! Lana

Does the black dining table and your black dining chairs get very hot/too hot in the direct sunlight?

Hi Barb! Great question! We've designed POLYWOOD furniture to remain outdoors in all climates, but on hot days in direct sunlight, darker lumber colors readily absorb heat. On hot sunny days, we recommend testing furniture temperature with the back of your hand to make sure it's safe to sit on. We also suggest moving furniture to a shady area or covering it with a suitable outdoor furniture cover. For covers, we recommend thecoverstore.com. Hope this helps! Tracey

Hello Linda, Both the Lakeside and Vineyard Dining Arm chairs would look great at this table, depending on what style you prefer. Why haven’t you made a bench to go with this table yet? Can you make a custom bench? I’d like this table with two benches and no chairs. It’s seems pointless to have the extra space and not be able to accommodate that space with a bench.
