Hi, can the Harbour Collection cushions be upgraded to Sunbrella fabrics? Our local dealer showed us a few Sunbrella swatches in her store, but I don’t see a Sunbrella upgrade option online? If so, what color options are available & what’s the upgrade cost?

Hi Steve, Our cushions and pillows are upholstered with Revolution fabrics. We don't offer an option to substitute Sunbrella fabrics on our cushions or pillows. Both Revolution and Sunbrella fabrics have similar properties, but Revolution fabric is made of polypropylene. Its wax coating causes dew/drizzle to bead up so it can easily be wiped off. Heavier rain passes through but the fabric dries fairly quickly. Thanks for asking! Lana

I see that the Harbour Sofa seems to have a metal rod along the back of the sofa, I'm wondering how weather resistant that might be? I am interested in Pollywood products because my climate gets a lot of rain and snow and I worry about that piece rusting. Do you have an insights on how likely this piece is to rust?

Hello- What do the seat bottoms look like under the cushion? Are they solid enough to sit on without the cushion at times? Do they look "finished" like a bench or garden chair? We are considering getting these for a back deck in a vermont house, and they will be very visible from main living in weather, so we'd like them to look nice without the cushions as well.

What is the seat depth with the back cushion on? Some of the images with dimensions show only the frame, so I can’t tell if the 21” seat depth is before the depth of the back cushion is taken into account.

Hello Kerri, Thank you for reaching out, that is a great question. POLYWOOD lumber is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), UV-inhibited pigments, and selected additives. The main raw material, HDPE contans no BPA, PFAs, phthalates, or heavy metals. Our HDPE comes from post-consumer bottle waste like milk jugs, detergent bottles, and other post-industrial HDPE. We clean this material through a decontamination process to a high purity level, removing contaminants like food residue, paper, and adhesives; we extrude it into rigid boards of mostly recycled plastic.
