Quality issues

"I had a few issues with the order. The first box I opened all the screws were in the bottom of the box. I guess the bag wasn’t sealed. Also, the metal polywood symbol was also not attached. It was stuck to a random piece in the box. I had the set assembled on 2 separate occasions and the last chair assembled yesterday had quality issues. The plastic had rough edges that I had to pull off. Also one piece wasn’t screwed down. As in it was a hole where the screw should’ve been, no screw & no hole was drilled on the other side. I had to make a hole & the only screw I had was silver. It looks bad. I tried to color it with a sharpie but it didn’t work. I’d like a black screw mailed so I can replace it. Overall I really like the chairs. It was a BIG decision & I honestly I couldn’t afford it but I didn’t want to buy again in a few years. I was attracted to the commitment to quality & the warranty. But I’m slightly disappointed. I need 2 more tables & planters. I wanted to stick with polywood but I’m a bit skeptical to be honest. This is a LOT of money for me. I’m still paying the balance on my card. Just a little surprised and disappointed. I have pics hopefully I can submit them."

"Extremely pleased with our purchase, the chairs were easy to assemble, they are sturdy, comfortable and the material is great for outdoor use. Since these were delivered, we've used them every night to enjoy some time outside. We also feel great knowing they are made from recycled materials. Highly recommend and will consider Polywood for additional outdoor furniture needs for sure."

Looks great, but surface does not seem to be robust enough for outdoor use

"The furniture is very nice, but apparently much more prone to be damaged by critters. I had my chair only for a few weeks and the surface is quit severally damaged on one chair. I assumed the Polywood chairs would last at least as long as wood chairs, clearly not. I had my wooden chairs for years without any damage like that. It is not on the edges, where they can chew it. But apparently they can crack the surface pretty easily. The warranty department, got back to me immediately that this is critter damage and that it is specifically excluded from the warranty. so I assume this is happening quite often."

Curved back Vs straight back, do you have a preference.
Hi Earl, That's a great question! It's more about your preference; the straightback sits more straight up, while the curved back is more relaxed due to the ability to lean back into the chair. Is there a curved back modern Adirondack rocking chair?
Hello Jkwottle, That is a good question. Currently, the only Curveback Adirondack rocking chair is the Grant Park Traditional. I will submit this as feedback though as we are always looking for ways to improve and expand our products for our customers. Thanks -Jason
Do any of your chairs have cup holders or wine stem holders?
Hi Leah, While having a drink is certainly a great way to enjoy your outdoors, we do not offer any products that have any sort of drink holder on them. The Modern Curveback Adirondack Chair that is included in this set does have a nice wide arm rest of approximately 5", which should be able to nicely rest any drink. The POLYWOOD lumber made of recycled plastics means that any condensation from those drinks will wipe off easily. I hope this helps. Thanks, Mindy #
Do the darker colors get hot in the sun?
Hello John, Yes our darker color will get hotter than our lighter ones. We have also designed and extruded the lumber using UV Inhibitors and heat distributors that help keep them cooler to the touch, even in very hot environments, no matter the color selected. Thanks for reaching out, Heather
