The cushions for your deep chairs look comfortable and sound weatherproof which is what we’re looking for but we want to know if they drain well and about how long they take to dry if they’re left out in the rain.

Hello Barbara, Thank you for your question! Our deep seating cushions are designed for outdoor use and are made with weather-resistant performance fabrics and quick-drying foam. The cushions do allow water to drain rather than retain it like traditional indoor cushions. Drying time can vary depending on factors such as the amount of rainfall, humidity, temperature, and sun exposure. In warm, sunny conditions, the cushions will typically dry within a few hours. After a heavy rain or in cooler, more humid weather, they may take longer to dry completely. For the best performance and longevity, we recommend storing cushions in a covered area or in the 68" Console Table when not in use for extended periods or during severe weather. Is the ottoman the exact same height as the modular chair height, so that it can be used in between two chairs as a backless piece of the set? We are looking at creating a small modular sofa by using 2 corner chairs, one armless chair on one side of a fireplace that has a wall behind it and 2 corner chairs and the ottoman for the space that faces the water. Please advise if this will work with these pieces! Thank you.

Hello Sass, As you can see in the EDGE 4-Piece Modular Deep Seating Set with Ottoman, the ottoman will be the same height as the Modular armless chair, as well as the EDGE Modular left and right arm chairs. Can edge ottoman support average adult body weight if sat or stood on?

What is the weight limit on the different Ottoman style?

In regards to the weight limit, all of our products are put through standard ASTM testing. This ottoman is tested to hold at least 50 pounds and has seen been seen to hold more. Thanks -Jason

Can this modular ottoman be attached with sectionals that are not part of the same 'Edge' series?

Hello AP, The Ottoman can be used with any of our Collections, however they are not meant to be attached to them. The Ottoman does not come with any brackets, as it is meant to be a moveable piece of furniture that is not attached to the rest of the modular furniture. Thanks for asking, Mindy

Does the fusion velcro down, or does it tie down?

Could the ottoman be used as a cocktail table if you chose not to put the pad on it? I dislike using a tray on top of pads, but like the option of ottoman or table.

Hi Andrew, That's a great question! The slats of the frame beneath where the cushion sits are too far apart to be used as a table on its own, but it might be a good spot to set a tray that can hold drinks and snacks. If you look at the assembly information (located on the product page under "Product Details") you can access a PDF containing the assembly instructions. There is an image of the ottoman's frame there so you can see what it looks like. This can help you determine if this will work for your idea of a creative cocktail table.
