"Ordered several chairs and two chaise lounges. They are a piece of cake to assemble. The furniture is of high quality they look great on my Lanai. It is something you would see in a high end hotel. My previous furniture was rusting and the paint flaking off after just a few months. These are sturdy and they truly look like wood. They are all extremely comfortable, the cushions that came with the chairs are very comfortable and thick. If you are on the fence purchase them they have such a selection of colors and types. Great product!!!"

"The chairs came in separate packages, assembly wasn't great for these but is something one can do alone. I would recommend for polywood to get some better screws cause allen headed ones they send barely fits the ones that come with it. overall though still a superior product worth every penny."

Would buy again.

"Very attractive and sturdy. The top of one arm was not attached right but I was able to remove it and then reattach it better. Lining up the 3 hole on each of the front legs was the hardest part of installation. The rest was simple but tedious - worth the effort. I also have a set of these without arms, a dining table with 6 chairs, 6 Adirondack chairs with a round table and 3 side tables. All heavy and sturdy. In Oklahoma, lightweight patio furniture is potentially projectile. Not these."

Hard to assemble

"the product is very hard to assemble with the small Allen wrench provided, and the tool with the handle is almost useless because with the small clearances between parts it impacts them and you can get maybe a quarter turn, then it slips off, stripping the bolt head and further complicating assembly."

Chaise lounge legs not set correctly

"Furniture is very nice and durable. This is our second set of Polywood chaise lounges. The front legs of the chaise lounge are meant to be parallel to the middle legs. The first set was great However, on the second set the holes for the front legs are slightly misaligned so that the legs aren’t parallel and the foot of the legs don’t sit parallel to the ground. I was expecting more consistent quality from Pollywood."

What are the dimensions of the base of the legs?
Hi Jenny, Thank you for your question! The distance between the front of the Chaise Lounge seat to the rear of the back leg is 64.4". Why do you suggest not using while laying flat? I would want to use in this position to sunbathe (i.e., while laying on stomach).
To Beth, We do not recommend using the chaise lounges while laying flat, since the back of the assembly does not have a setting to balance the chaise lounge nor offer support with the back brace. If used while laying down, the chaise lounge would lean and tilt backwards. Best wishes, Jay C.

Do these lay flat ?

Will the white polywood lounger stain if tinted sunscreen is used?
Hi Rhonda, POLYWOOD furniture should be able to be cleaned with either a soap and water mixture or a bleach and water mixture. I can't say for sure if your product will stain, as I don't know the chemicals that are used in tinted sunscreen. I would say, to be safe, to not sit on the chair without a cushion or towel underneath you if you will be using that sunscreen. I hope this helps, Mindy
Do the chaise loungers stack?

My backyard is all sun, no shade at all. Do these chairs get really hot in the sun?
Hi Cari, Great question! The darker lumber colors will absorb more heat than the lighter colors will. This is the nature of the material. However, if it's nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the day, the furniture will be fine to use. It shouldn't be too hot to the touch. Thanks for asking! Ashley
