Poor quality control

"So I just received my presidential rockers and assembled them. I was surprised by the poor quality control on these products for the price that was paid. My wife convinced me to purchase these I didn’t do any research on them. As I removed the pieces from the boxes there is a lot of loose plastic shavings on cut edges and screw holes, some of the plastic itself looks dirty or discolored. I put both rocking chairs and table together and the fit isn’t that great either. I am handy and build things it isn’t from user error. The top of the presidential rocker doesn’t have a screw hole it is just sandwiched between the two side pieces, on both of my rockers this piece is loose. The very bottom of the rocker there are 2 support pieces one is longer than the other on one of my rockers the screws do not tighten down they just spin. On one of my seats the screws made the plastic bulge when I screwed it in. The rockers are heavy which is good but when you sit in them I feel them flex. For the price I would not buy these again. We were going to buy some other furniture I am glad we bought this first. If it wouldn’t be such a pain to take them apart and ship them back I definitely would."

Hello Faye, Great question! The most notable difference between the Presidential and the Estate rocking chairs will be the back design. When it comes to the 3-Peice set they do come with different style tables. In general the Presidential set has more curves (Head rest and table corners) than the Estate that is more square. I have a long, but narrow front porch. The width of the porch is about 45". Would the Presidential Rocker 3 piece set be an appropriate size if chairs are placed at an angle?
Hi Lynne, Thanks for reaching out! You may be able to use the set if you put the chairs at an angle as you described. We typically recommend about 57" to allow for a foot of space in front of the chair and a foot behind. The more subdued your rocking style is though, the less extra space you would need to include. I've seen the Polywood Presidential Pacific Blue chair on another site and it looks to be a deeper, not as bright, blue. Is the color represented here, the true color, a very bright blue?
Hi Amy Thank you for your question Unfortunately color representation is often skewed when being viewed on a monitor screen. Due to computer setting and the setting on your monitor. For this reason we recommend since you can be spending hundreds of dollars purchasing some samples of the color options you would like to see. You can find the samples on our website by going to the bottom of the home page and in the third column click on materials and on the next screen you can select Polywood to see the lumber, Fabrics etc. Once you are in to view the colors you can select them to add to your cart. What is the weight restrictions?
Hello! We don't test our products to a weight limit. We test to ASTM Standards. This Presidential Rocking Chair passed a 400 lb static load test. It also passed an impact test that drops 150 lbs ten times from a height of 8". These are both a limit to pass as commercial grade. This is the best standard that we test to at this time. Currently, we haven't load tested our Round 18" Side Table. I can say that this set is very sturdy and strong. Thank you for the great question! Kevin
