The reviews sound like there have been real issues with the alignment of the holes when assembling this chair. Have those issues been fixed? I really don't want to buy a chair that is not made properly causing me to find a way to solve the problem during assembly. If the issues have been fixed, then I would be interested in purchasing.

With the alignment issues what happens is some pieces sometimes get over-tightened or not tightened enough and just need to be tweaked for everything to line up. With our products if there are ever any major issues we do not expect our customers to fix the issue as we are more than glad to send out or replace any part that needs to if there is an issue. The woven plastic has broken on our Presidential rocking chairs. Do you have replacements?

Hi Linda, I apologize for the delay, I was out of the office yesterday. We can only replace with weave panels, we cannot replace with polywood slats. Each weave set is $59 for the back and the seat weave panel and yours are in White Loom. Please email hello@polywood.com, with pictures of your items, as well as the serial number from the small white bar code sticker on that item. Some customers do find this style to be a little more comfortable since the woven material does have more give than our POLYWOOD lumber. I read elsewhere on the Jefferson rocker that the woven seat and back have a 5-year warranty, however, the lumber has a 20-year warranty. Is there a way to replace the seat and back if they sustain damage after five years without having to buy a new rocker?

If something happens to them outside of the five years, there will be a cost to replace them.
