Q&A

Can you get the chair without the cushion?

Hi Jen, Good question! No, we do not sell the chair without cushions. Thank you for your question. Best, Stephanie

Can the swivel chair be sold as part of any set, or can they only be purchased individually?

Hi Phil, Great question! The Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel Chair is available for individual purchase and is also included in the Vineyard 5-Piece Deep Seating Swivel Conversation Set with Fire Pit Table. At this time, this is the only set we offer with the Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel Chair included. I hope this helps! Hannah

Do these come with back cushions or do you have to order separate?

Hi Tara, Great question! This Deep Seating set includes the seat and back cushions. Happy shopping! Thanks for asking! Lana

Does the swivel chair also have a rocking ability or just swivel. Also , does the back recline any?

Hello Dana, I apologize, this is not a rocking chair. Any of our chairs that rock, will have it noted in the title or name of the chair. If you look at the dimensional drawing on the product page, you can see the back is at a small angle of 107 degrees, but it does not recline or rock. Thanks, Mindy

Hello- Is there a swivel and rocking Chair in the near future plans?

Hello Greg, As far as I am aware, there are no future plans at this moment. I will pass on your interest to the design teams for their consideration. I would suggest signing up for the newsletter, as any potential new product that we would possibly have, would be announced there. Thanks, Mindy

Do these rock as well?

Hello Maranda, I apologize, they do not rock. Any of our chairs that rock, will say 'rocker' in the description. I'm afraid we do not currently have any swivel rockers. Thanks for asking, Mindy

Does the Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel Chair come with a seat cushion and back cushion?

Hello Katie, That is a great question. Any of our Deep Seating items, that show a cushion on the seat and the back, will come with both cushions. Thanks, Mindy

ARE THE CUSHIONS SUMBRELLA OR SOME TYPE OF FADE RESISTANT MATERIAL?

Hi Norma, Our cushions and pillow are upholstered with Revolution fabrics. Revolution fabrics are made of polypropylene, which is quick drying, resists stains, is bleach cleanable and fade resistant. Thank you for your question! Lana

Do the arms get hot to touch if left out in the sun?

Hi Vanessa, We've designed POLYWOOD furniture to remain outdoors in all climates, but on hot days in direct sunlight, darker lumber colors readily absorb heat. On hot sunny days, we recommend testing furniture temperature with the back of your hand to make sure it's safe to sit on. We also suggest moving furniture to a shady area or covering it with a suitable outdoor furniture cover. For covers, we recommend thecoverstore.com. Thanks for asking! Lana

Does this swivel chair also rock?

Hi Suzy, Thank you for your question! The Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel chair swivels, but does not rock. We do not have a chair in our product line that both swivels and rocks. Thanks! Lana

My chairs seem to be a quite stiff and require effort to swivel. What can I do to make them swivel easier?

Hi CJ, Thank you for your question! Our Product Specialist suggests spraying some silicone on the mechanism if you'd like. Typically a stiff swivel mechanism loosens up with time and use. Thanks! Lana

What is the weight capacity

Hi Sue, The weight capacity for this chair is 325 lbs. Thanks for asking! Best, Lana

Does this chair recline? I see the questions about "rocking" but curious if it reclines backward at all when sitting or if it is only side-to-side.

Hi Dan, Great question! The Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel chair does not have a rocking or recline feature. Thanks, Lana

What does the bottom of the chair look like? If the cushions were removed, could you still sit comfortably in this chair?

Thank you for your question! The seat frame of the Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel Chair consists of slats that run horizontally across the frame and would not be comfortable to sit on without the cushions. Thanks, Lana

If the cushion gets rained on, does it soak through the fabric to the cushion? Does it dry quickly?

Hi Jill, Thanks for reaching out with your question. We use Revolution fabric due to its durability, color-fade technology, and resistance to stains and water.. **Revolution fabrics are also m**ade of polypropylene. Its wax coating causes dew/drizzle to bead up and easily be wiped off. Heavier rain passes through but the fabric dries relatively quickly. You can also order a sample of any of our fabrics by going to Samples under the Get Inspired Tab. Thanks, Tracey

Does the Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel Chair come in classic or vintage finish?

Hi Donna, Great question! Yes, the Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel chair is available in the Vintage finish. The model number is GNSV23V. Happy shopping! Best, Lana

What is return policy if I dont like the chair?

Hi Nancy, Great question! POLYWOOD has a 30-Day No-Hassle return policy. If you are unhappy with your furniture for any reason, contact us within 30 days and we'll send a call tag to pick up your product and return it to the factory for a refund. Thanks, Lana

Does the fabric on the cushions come with the one or three year warranty?

Hi Dan, Great question! Cushions, pillows, and umbrella canopies are warranted to be free from workmanship or material defects for thirty (30) days from purchase. The fabric on a cushion, pillow, or umbrella canopy is warranted to not tear, mildew, or fade excessively for one (1) year from purchase. Thanks! Lana

How heavy are is this chair? I have to remove from my balcony for storms.

Hello David, The Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel Chair weighs 52 pounds. Thanks for asking, Mindy

Can you use these vineyard deep seating chairs with the dining tables? From a sitting height perspective?

Hi Angela, Thank you for your question! While the deep seating chairs are very comfortable and would be able to slide under most of our dining tables when not in use, the seat height at 12" inches is lower than traditional dining chairs that range from 17" to 22" for seat height. I hope this helps with your decision making. Thanks! Lana
