Assembly required??

Two questions: 1. what is the diameter of the umbrella hole? and 2. what are the dimensions of the legs? I have an umbrella base with a 21.5 inch diameter I'm hoping will fit under this table.

Hi Kimberly, Thank you for taking time to reach out! The umbrella hole is 1.625" in diameter, and the umbrella base we use is a 19.5" diameter made to fit under this table. If your base does not fit, you can use the base that comes with our umbrella instead. Best wishes, Jay C.

Will a propane tank (size used for a grill etc.) fit under the table?

Hello Dana, I do believe a standard 20 lb propane tank would fit under this table, but I would only suggest that for storage purposes and not if it is in use at all. Does this table come with a plug for the umbrella hole?

Hello Marco. Thank you for reaching out about our Round 37" Conversation Table. This table like the majority of our dining, counter, and bar tables is going to come with an umbrella hole. They are photographed with hole plugs so it's hard to tell. The smaller tables 30" or smaller won't have one. Best wishes, Heather

Hi Joe! Thank you for that great question! I did some calculations and it should fit if you turn the base diagonally with the corners between the legs. I have provided a very rough example below. Hi Sydney, I'm happy to hear how much you love this table! Yes the Round 38" Conversation Table has an umbrella hole. I know the pictures can sometimes make it difficult to see that. I can't say that _all_ of our tables come with the umbrella hole because the end tables, coffee tables and side tables do not have the umbrella hole. Our Dining tables and Conversation tables that are 31" and over will be produced with the umbrella holes. It is also listed under the Features for this table, if you scroll down past the POLYWOOD lumber color options. I hope this helps, Mindy

My umbrella has a 18 in diameter stand, would it fit under the 38 in conversation table?

Hello, Great question! Yes your 18" diameter umbrella stand will fit under the 38" conversation table. All of out tables over 30" will fit up to a 19" umbrella base. Do keep in mind that our conversation tables are only 18" tall, so you will have to be careful with the height of the stand as well how stable a larger umbrella would be. Can this 38” round table be custom made to 32” round? The current size is too big for my space.

The smallest round conversation table we offer is 36" in diameter (which I've attached for you to look at). We do have a square 31" x 31" conversation table though.
