Why POLYWOOD?

Genuine POLYWOOD lumber is made from reusable and recyclable high-density polyethylene plastic, offering what wood and other plastics simply cannot: eco-conscious outdoor furniture that lasts. Good for the planet and even better for busy lifestyles, our patio furniture is low maintenance, easy to clean, and fade-resistant. All of our furniture is designed and proudly made in the USA—and we always offer free shipping.

Every product is carefully considered and expertly engineered for enduring quality, endless comfort, and all-season durability. Our weatherproof designs are perfect for decks, patios, poolsides, beachfront properties, and balconies in any climate, any time of year, making them a forever fixture in your outdoor space.

“We love them. My spouse is over 6 ft. tall and he’s very comfortable in the rocker. Also, easy to put a cushion on too. We know they will wear well in the weather. Easy to put together. Will likely purchase again.”

- Kathy C.

Rocker Colors

Our outdoor rocking chairs are available in a rainbow of lumber colors. Thanks to our Color-Stay Technology, the pigments are fully integrated into the material to keep the hues pristine, even after years of sun, rain, and use. This results in saturated colors that are continuous throughout. Lighter hues stay brilliantly bright, and darker tones remain vivid without the need to ever sand, paint, or restain.

How to Clean Your Adirondack Rocker

Our Adirondack rockers clean up quickly and easily—just give yours a good scrub with soapy water and a soft-bristle brush before rinsing with clean water. To sanitize or get rid of set-in stains, you can go in and scrub with a diluted bleach solution. Alternatively, a power washer can be used for seasonal deep cleans.

FAQs
Is there a difference between Adirondacks and Muskoka chairs?
While very similar, Adirondacks and Muskoka chairs are not the same—Adirondack chairs are wider and sit higher off the ground, making them easy to get in and out of. Additionally, Muskoka chairs have a slightly curved back, whereas Adirondack chairs feature a flat back. Adirondack chairs originated in upstate New York and are named after the Adirondack Mountains; Muskoka chairs are named after a picturesque region outside of Ontario, Canada.
What makes an Adirondack chair an Adirondack chair?
The classic Adirondack style features a reclined backrest, back slats, and backward sloping seat that’s relatively low to the ground. It’s designed for hours of relaxation and should feel supportive from every angle. It also has wide armrests, giving you good leverage for getting out of the chair.
Can Adirondack chairs stay outside year-round?
Yes, POLYWOOD Adirondack chairs can stay outside all year long. Our heavy-duty lumber is made to withstand all types of weather, including rainstorms, snowfall, strong winds, and bright UV rays.
